"Whiteness is not who you are. Which is why it is entirely possible to despise whiteness without disliking yourself."

It is not up to Eula Biss, or anyone else, to define our identities for us. No matter how many times people with authority and influence and power try to tell us we don't exist or that our identities are invalid, we refuse to believe it. We refuse to buckle under. We are not going to erase ourselves to appease a bunch of intellectuals that hate their own people and seek to gain social status by attacking their own identity.

We believe in self determination for all groups and thoroughly support the right of non white students to form their own communities and groups exclusive to themselves.

We do not wish to force any groups to integrate with white people against their will and stand against slavery, colonialism, imperialism and any other force that threatens the sovereignty and self determination of any people. We support the right of all people and nations to self determination.

Multiple groups occupying the same spaces is not necessarily bad, but it's not necessarily good either. Certainly there is nothing inherently virtuous about racial and cultural diversity. If it creates conflict and tension, there is no reason to continue it for the sake of ideology.

The assumption today in western society is that "diversity" and "multiculturalism" are good. But we have yet to see any actual evidence brought forward to support this view, while we do have some evidence that they create social tension and erode social capital and trust, thus making all groups unhappier in the long run. So given that, what is the point? It is because "diversity" is the pet hobby of certain intellectuals and politicians. All groups have the fundamental right to opt out of multicultural globalism and retain their own identities and spaces.

'Other NYU students disagree with the Union and what it purports to want. CAS sophomore Richard Lagu, said he does not understand the group’s goals and thinks it should be taken down immediately.

“Whiteness does not even exist,” Lagu said. “It is a tool, a social construct, that has only benefited those under its umbrella at the expense of every other ethnic group in the United States.”'

Richard Lagu needs to decide whether something being a social construct means it doesn't exist, and if he would say that about any other identity. Imagine saying that blackness doesn't exist, even though it too is a social construct. There would have to be administrative hearings and sit ins and talks to make sure people felt safe for weeks if someone said that on campus.

This is exactly the kind of rhetoric that this group was formed to oppose. It is literally an erasure of white identity. White identity is either ridiculed, erased or pathologized in all classes and discussions on the topic in Universities today. Well, white people do not have to put up with this. These are bigoted and inflammatory statements that attack your very right to exist, and you should be angry about them.

To do these things at the request of people that are for all intents and purposes our enemies would be weak and craven. We do not buy into the moral paradigm that our detractors bring to the table. We do not need our existence to be validated by them. We do not need to be seen as the "good white people" or as "acceptable white people" by people that are anti-white.

So if you are going to post comments to demand that we remove content you don't like or denounce some person or group that you don't like in order that we seem "respectable" to people that want us to disappear it's not going to happen. You may as well just move along.

I want them to see that and understand that we have to change the way we discuss whiteness.

Whiteness is not only a negative thing. We want to re-construct a positive white identity.

The current discourse on whiteness is entirely negative. There are courses sanctioned by the University, and many Universities across the country, that say that whiteness is an identity that is contstructed to be inherently oppressive. That literally the only reason whiteness exists is to oppress others.

This is simply wrong, and it is alienating and confusing to white students that may not be up on the most recent social justice lingo. Frankly, these arguments are sophistry meant to silence white voices and put a stop to pro-white activism, and we will be calling out those that push these narratives as anti-white more vocally in the future as our movement grows. We are small now, but we are not putting up with this much longer.

We aim to reclaim the word and identity of whiteness. In America particularly, white is who we are. Whiteness is our identity because of the historical experience of white people coming from many different European ethnicities. We are white, and no one has a right to take that away or to defame that identity. We are reclaiming it.

We are told that we are privileged, that we have all the power and that activism on our own behalf is invalid because of this. We reject these claims. We reject the claim that a "victim narrative" that is validated by outsiders is necessary to organize on our own behalf. We exist and as such will be organizing in our own interest. Whether the authorities or the media or anyone approves is irrelevant. We are white. We have agency. We do, we do not ask.

The great thing about white history is that you can look back in time on almost any date and see great things that were done by white people in previous years!
