RECAP OF Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee's Discussion With Harris DEMS During Open House

The Voice of Reason, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee stopped by Party... HQ and joined fellow Democrats an Open House, Harris DEMS, candidates, party officers, and interested voters to attentively listened to Congresswoman Lee's viewpoints.

DEMS were strongly encouraged to run for office throughout Harris County. Emphasis was placed on support candidates to fill all open seats in the upcoming election cycles.

Needed bail reform remains the focal point of Lee's concerns within local politics. DEMS were strongly urged to elect representatives that will support the working class citizens. Examples were provided that demonstrated how ineffective and inefficiant the current bail system is withholding. Being too poor to afford bail is not a fair practice. Stating "the system is definitely broken"; however, Lee pointed out DEMS must work together and be supportive of our elected officials as they work towards reform.

DEMS were also encouraged to weigh in on 45's inability to be an effective leader of the Free World. #45s instability to maintain a stably governed administration was also discussed. How could #45 not know the duties and responsibilities of serving as the POTUS? Why would #45 didn't realize that being president would be such a hard job? How did #45 erroneously think it would be easier to serve as the POTUS than thosting a reality TV show? These questions may forever go unanswered; however, Lee challenged DEMS to think and resist.

DEMS must be strategic and oftentimes quiet in their pursuit to win battles and become the conquers of war. The "art of war" must be studied, applied and practiced. This school of thought was optimized by Lee proving how President Obama was able to effectively and quietly commandeer the opposing forces of the North Korean regime from ensuing war with their enemies.

The final quotation from the Voice of Reason without delay with encouragement for today: "It's not about the DEMOCRATS only! I'm a soldier on the battlefield for this nation."

Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee remains to be the "Voice of Reason" for local politics; an echoed strength within State polities; and both an influential and forceful voice within National politics. HCDP would like to thank the Honorable S. J. Lee for stopping by Party Headquarters before returning to Washington DC to represent the 18th Congressional District of Texas. #StrongerTogether #LetsBuildAStrongParty
