Said “á la prochaine” to this guy last night after an excellent tour. One of the best, in fact. We will miss many things, but certainly we’ll miss Al’s stories ...most. Then the 🍷. 😊 Learning so much every night from this master of the arts. Announcing more #AlStewart dates soon! 🎶 #TheEmptyPockets #Tour
What a treat to see Al Stewart in Peekskill New York this week. For the 1st time (for me) in years Al was supported by a full band called The Empty Pockets who ...did a great job backing Al as well as opening the concert with a great set.
Al was also supported by the talented and entertaining Marc Macisso and opened with a few favorites and then played the entire "Year of the Cat" album. It was amazing to hear the whole album with Al’s commentary between each song. Al then came out for an intense solo version of “In Brooklyn” to close out a fantastically entertaining show.

From Randall Armor:
"The other night, 700 of us got to see and hear what happens when 72 year old Scottish folk rock legend Al Stewart joins forces with a young, talented and enthusiastic band from Chicago (The Empty Pockets) at a first class music venue in New Hampshire. Luckily, one of us had access and a camera!"
