      The Gig Slut just took it easy last night,going to Shoreditch. En route,at Old Street Stazione I was on hand to act as guide to John Etherington and his friend,going to Roadtrip.We saw H.Christine en route.Also i was recognised by Claire Louise of Sister Sidney at this station ! I made my way to Paper Dress Vintage ,was greeted by Steve of Love L.U.V.,and also chatted to Simon Wild and Tina,of Oh!Gunquit. Love L.U.V. played their usual style of slightly retro rock which I like very much,and they played on time,always a plus in my book as Simon pointed out! And they had Paul Milne playing bass for them . Check out this band .They're always worth a watch. Mr Andy Barnes popped along to have a few words with me,before heading off to shame me for only doing one gig. Jim Sinclare had turned up at this point,too. Paul had curated this night,and was also DJ'ing and putting on some good stuff. The next band were not quite for me,but they kept people going. I had a little chat to Tina,and also my friends Nicole Pinto and Jenny of that other hot band The Franklys.Oh,we did have a laugh ,believe me. Finally we had a top quality set from Oh! Gunquit . I had met Veronica,their new bassist,already so we all enjoyed their own brand of rock'n'roll,with sax ,and Tina doing hula hooping while perched on a stool !! Andy managed to pop back to see at least some of it.These gig hoppers,honestly! After a hot set of around 45 mins, I took my leave of them at 23.30,and went with Andy to Old Street again.We should've run,there was a bad service in both directions and I could only make Waterloo 00.01,so I had to await the 00.18. This got me to Richmond on time ,but the place was as crazy as Shorebitch.Some sort of rugby match had been on ? I got a late running unknown R68 driver,who was too kind to some of these idiots,and we had a rowdy ride . Home 01.20

      This Sat, we are playing @The Blues Kitchen Shorditch! It's a brand new The Blues Kitchen - Shoreditch branch. I've not been there. It locates in Curtain rd.. I think very close to Paper Dress. Same night Hidden Door club is goin on Paper Dress Vintage. Oh!Gunquit is playing there. I don't know what time they are playing. We are on 10pm sharp! And before 9pm is free entry. So, one the way or between to paper dress , join us!!
