Part of being a real mass organization, is the mass line. We dont want to slip into the bad habit of economism the way some organizations have done.
In that respect, we try to keep in contact with the people we work with, and develop People's councils so that we have a better sense of what is needed instead of what will make us feel needed. Today, while talking to our people about the pigs busting up the camp a few days ago, we came to a stark realization. The model we h...ave been using simply isn't helping, and we need to adapt our approach and thinking.
Doing occasional drops of clothing and tents doesn't work when the pigs can follow us and destroy those tents and trash those clothes. What we will be doing is twofold. We will be adopting a more ongoing system of support and community defense, using the People's Council model as well as the Oklahoma People's Defense Force (along with any other interested community defense organizations). Secondly, we will be raising funds immediately, to purchase a plot of land so that we can limit law enforcement access, and begin to build a more stable community.
