Very hard to get ahold of. Sent a couple of emails within two weeks and never got a response. Called the number in the email and the woman that answered hadn’t been with the company in months. Left a... voicemail from 502 itself but got two separate versions of the voicemails. Emails are inconsistent, email said they are open thursdays then the voicemail when you call Thursday says they aren’t open until Friday See More

I went with 9 of my friends as a birthday outing! The women were so nice with my rowdy friends lol. The wine was so great, choosing 6 to taste was a challenge but I managed to fall in love with a coup...le and take some home for later! See More

Interesting place, but pricey for a wine tasting in my opinion. The servers seemed distracted, on phones, dealing with others walking in, coming back only after glasses were empty awhile and entire ta...sting was done standing, nowhere to sit. Wines were decent, nothing stood out to me too much, though this is personal preference. See More

The experience was entertaining. I don't know much about wine so I would like to have had a basic tutorial on how to approach the tasting (Look, Smell, Taste, Think) and perhaps a way to cleanse my pa...lete after each wine.
The entire tasting was done while standing and there wasn't any place to sit down.

We have tried the wine at festivals so we were anxious to visit the winery. First we're in our late 50's and she carded us which was mildly irritating. But it's the law so not a big deal. The girl was... very unfriendly and had a bad attitude. When we go to more than one winery in a day we share tastings and she wouldn't let us do that. The tastings were 10.50 each which is rediculously high as well so we left without purchasing anything. We went to 12 wineries in a week and bought wine at all but 502. Very disappointing. See More

We as a group made a special planned trip to the Louisville area simply for the purpose of tasting different wines. Keep in mind collectively I have toured nearly every winery in the state of Ohio, ma...ny in Indiana, Michigan, and some in West Virginia and never have I found a"sales associate" the was more unlikeable than the one that serviced us yesterday. Putting it mildly I use the word rude, lacked professionalism and just not a proper fit for customer service. For the wine sake I've tasted and experienced so many wines in the last year I can't say I have a favorite set of standards of what I like, so I open mind taste every type and style of wine. But to charge$12 dollars for a flight of tastings should have been a clue to me first off, I've never left a taster of wine without finishing it ( giving it a fair assessment) We left everything that was served to us unfinished, simply not palatable in any form or fashion. We normally leave each winery with a least a half case but left your establishment with nothing more than a bad experience and $60 bill in tastings. Save your time skip this place and devote your taste buds to somewhere else. See More

Erin was a terrific host. The Sunday crowd was small and so we didn't feel rushed. We just did a flight with dry wines only. Bought the Bordeaux type red.

Excellent wine and customer service. Wish I could remember the name of the lady who was working. (Law school student 28-29 years old) she was fantastic! Very friendly, personable and helpful

Great wines. Great people. It's a must stop when we are in Louisville. We even brought our wine suitcase this time. When we left, yes it was full.

My girlfriend and I woke up on a Sunday and decided we wanted to do a wine tasting. After looking up local wineries we decided to check out Old 502. We got there close to 4:30 (around 4:25) knowing th...ey close at 5. Being in the service industry myself, I know it can be annoying having customers this close to closing time, but with it being a winery, I figured we could do a quick tasting and buy a bottle all in about 20 minutes and be out of there before close. So we walk in and are the only people inside, it looked like it had been dead for a while. It's freezing cold inside and the girl behind the counter is wearing a big coat and asks us what she can do for us. I ask the girl if it'd be alright to do a quick tasting and she gives me an unhappy look and my girlfriend asks if she's trying to close and says we're not trying to impose. The girl lethargically says we're fine and proceeds to give us the most lackadaisical service I've ever experienced at a winery or restaurant in a long time. Her whole job is to pour wine and give friendly service. Apparently the latter was too much to ask of this woman. My girlfriend and I both tried to strike up conversation with her to no avail. You'd think she'd want to try and get the best tip out of her last customers, but she put minimal effort into serving us and with this being our one day off together, we were hoping for a better experience or at least some friendly service. Won't be coming back. See More

I was visiting from St. Louis and decided to try this winery upon recommendation. The tasting staff member working was fairly nice, but I wasn't a fan of any of the wines here to be honest. Wine is ob...viously an individual preference, so that doesn't mean someone else won't or they make bad wines!

The wine tasting is $10 and comes with a free full-size wine glass to take home, so it was a great value. The wine tasting allows you to pick 6 different varieties to try. However, I only found 4 that really fit my taste preference. They wouldn't let me have a double tasting to make 6, so that was frustrating. If you don't like certain wines you don't like them. I personally thought they should have been a little more accommodating to let me try a second sampling of 2 I liked the most.

This is my favorite winery in this region! You will not find another one around that has this selection of dry reds along with the rest of their fantastic selection. The tasting room is small, but the...y have added tables and improvements to maximize space! They make the most of the urban winery concept and they really care about you having the wine experience you want. Highly recommend the Bore Dough and White Noise! See More

My friend and I had a very enjoyable wine tasting here today. There was a nice variety of wines to try and Jessie, our server was delightful and very knowledgeable about the wines and the Louisville a...rea. For $10.00 we tried 6 different wines and got to keep our glass too. Would definitely recommend! See More

We were there for a bachelorette party with 14 people. The service was terrible and the girl working was not very friendly at all. We arrived a few minutes early so the girl sent us next door and told... us to get a drink over there. It was 40 minutes next door to get a drink and so we ended up being late for our wine tasting. She acted mad that we were late when we told her that we were late because she sent us over there (the service was terrible there too). Once over at our wine tasting the girl was very rude and smashed all 14 of us into a small space. She took a very long time to get us our wines and then told us we were going to have to hurry because she had another group coming in. Overall, the wine was good..the service was not at all good. When you go to do something fun, you expect to have fun...not be angry the entire time. See More

My husband and I came in for a tasting, which on your website say nothing about tasting starting at the top of the hour! The lady made it seem she was doing us some favor by starting a tasting at 330!... The cost of the tasting was a bit much since you didn't get to pick a number you wished to try rather what planed tasting you have setup! We are sweeter wine lovers which as she stated Old 502 is trying to get the locals to like less sweet wines! We did really enjoy the Bach, After Choc & Holiday wine ( last two not in the tasting we bought glasses to try since you all do not offer a taste by the glass of your other wines). My last negative, while we were tasting a lady came in to purchase a case and ask if there was a case discount (almost every winery offers one) she was told no and then the lady told her we Prefer to sell just a few bottles from here maybe you should try the liquor barn or Kroger! Why would you want to send customers away? All in all we enjoyed a few of your wines, the lady working was knowledgeable but made us feel like she was teaching us, she seemed very scripted not relaxed or fun! See More

This place was great! Our hostess was very knowledgeable and friendly. She was able to walk us though their wide variety of wines and I ended up finding some new local favorites that day. They have a ...great selection of dry wines, which is hard to find in this area. Plus, the urban winery experience is unique and pretty cool. If you go, I would definitely recommend the White Noise, Bourbon Barrel Red, and Holidaylicious! See More

I planned to come here for a bachelorette party weekend and bought a Groupon for tastings. We traveled to Louisville and they were closed for a private party which wasn't even an option on their websi...te. We had to completely change our plans and waste our Groupon because they didn't communicate that they would be closed at the time of the party. Very disappointed. See More
