Very frustrating experience on 3/26/18. Made reservation at 5:30 for birthday dinner. No hostess at the front. Went to the bar and explained we had a reservation. Bartender was short, checked on our r...eservation, returned and pointed to the other room saying "your table is over there". No offer to walk us over. No greeting from our server, "Are you ready to place your order?". Fish and chips, were glorified fish sticks from the grocery store. Grilled cheese with added bacon had so little cheese and so little bacon. Pulled pork was dry. Wedge salad was all lettuce, very few tomatoes, etc to go with it. The New York strip was great, but our other meals left a lot to be desired. Observed the bartender having two of his own plates (one on each bar) and eating his food behind the bar while pouring drinks. Server was inattentive with refills and clearing the table. Had to get our own to go box. We've enjoyed previous experiences in the summer, but won't be back anytime soon. See More

Chose Old Boys’ Brewhouse in Spring Lake, MI for lunch about a fantastic choice!

Everything is locally sourced, and made from scratch. Soups, salad dressings AND home brewed BEER!!! I ...cannot say enough about how fabulous the food and service was....and learned there is a boardwalk under the busy bridge to walk here from the Holiday Inn without having to navigate the traffic!

Coming back again for sure!

The food was great, kind of expensive. Our waitress Amanda paid for $10 of our meal so she got a nice tip. Service was good, no wait.

Our visits have come by boat. The fourth time, this will be our last. On each visit, the service was absolutely the worst. The food was acceptable. However, the delivery was beyond poor. The... meals all came out at different times. The last serving, was as the first was finishing up. The ordering of beverage was the worst. If an order could be made, the length of delivery would take up to 10 min. To begin the whole process, we had to solicit a waitress 15 min after being seated. We were not the only table with these problems. See More

First time in Michigan and I recommend anyone that visits this area to stop in at Old Boys Brewhouse! Excellent service and great environment! I personally recommend the BBQ Bacon Burger and chips. I... have literally been there the past two evenings and enjoyed every bite of it both nights! The ipa beers hit the spot as well! Even threw in a few(4) Crown and Cokes with my beer tonight and was blown away by the tab being as cheap as it was this evening. I plan on eating there again and again while I'm working in this area! Really a great place! See More

As a younger adult who is interested in craft beer, I love how you label your beer. At too many places I can't get the beer I want because of minimal ingredient labeling. Thank you very much for doing... this I wish more places would do it. I love supporting Michigan Craft beer if I can! See More

The food was great , but the price was steep. The Brewery beer didn’t hit the expectations I was hoping for

So bummed that a restaurant that sits on a lake in Spring Lake would take their fish dip off the menu. That and the view is THE ONLY reason I travel from Muskegon to this restaurant!

I can't say enough good things about them. We have been there numerous times with family. My father in law is very picky when it comes to his food in restaurants. He absolutely loves it! We always ...have great service and great food. Oh and don't forget about the entertainment. The F.A.N club is awesome. You guys at Old Boys' Brewhouse do a great job!!! See More

"The unique taste and tenderness of highly marbled Wagyu beef makes for an unrivalled eating experience. That is why Wagyu beef is finding its way into the repertoires of Gourmet cooks and fine restaurants across the US. Not only is it a gastronomic delight, but it’s healthy for you too. Health experts have discovered the mono-unsaturated to saturated fat ratio is higher in Wagyu than in other beef and, the saturated fat contained in Wagyu is different. Forty percent is in a version called stearic acid, which is regarded as having a minimal impact in raising cholesterol levels. The profile of marbled Wagyu beef is more beneficial and healthier to human health."
