Whoa, I never rated Ontario Knife Company!?

My favorite go to knife I own is my Ontario Blackbird. I don't think I own a more practical knife. I got friends that are way into knives, and the Blackbi...rd in practicality and use competes with knives that are in the $400 range even though the Blackbird is just around $100. Ontario is who you go to when you want a solid knife you know you can trust for a reasonable price. See More

My first knife other than pocket knives was a Ontario KC when I was 11/12. I put that knife through hell for years before I went off to college. Yesterday I was going through my gear and found it an...d it is still in great condition no damage besides a little wear on the sheath and handle. I just gave it to my 14 year old son for our upcoming trip up north and I have no doubt that it will give him years of use without fail. I just cannot say enough good things about this company! I sent these guys an email about an issue with a knife months ago. Big pieces of metal in my sheath scratching the blade anytime it's taken out or put back in. I still haven't received a response.

Absolutely outstanding! I always carry my rat-1 in my opinion it's the best folder on the market and the rat-3 is perfect for an edc fixed blade.

All my knives are Old Hickory. Love them. I am giving them as gifts this Christmas. I have one request. Would you consider making a few wood working tools such as draw knives?

The Ontario Model 1 in D2 steel is the best bang for the buck folder on the market and the best budget folder ever. No, it's not perfect, but for the money no one can beat it.

Now make an Ontario Rat... Model 2 in D2!!! See More

I might as well be honest I am a fanboy of Ontario fixed blade knives and will not use any other fixed blade from any other manufacturer.

I'm relatively new to carrying a quality EDC knife and after going through a few different models and companies, I finally tried the Ontario Rat 2 (Black with stainless blade). Needless to say I have on me right now. It makes a great all-around EDC knife and presentation is lightning fast. Although I am a righty, I really like how this is one of a few knives I can easily open and close one-handed with my right or left hand. It opened the doors to my purchasing a Rat 1 in D2 steel with Carbon Fiber handles, and another Rat 2 (Brown w/Black blade). It truly is a value at its' price point, and I plan on buying more. Ontario solved the problem of having contact with a knife's tang. A natural gap between a scale and the tang will invite crud and bacteria. By molding the handle with the blade, Ontario created the 2 ...piece knife no rivets, pins, gaps, or movement. These blades offer a secure grip and smooth transitions when in use. My Dream knife would be a Spec Plus SP1 with a 11-9 inch Blade Length and Colored Handle. I noticed that Ontario already offers Orange and Tan Kraton ,so it would be cool to see Jungle Green or White handles. Be a patriot and buy Ontario. See More

Lots of problems with recent product quality and dismal customer service. I have been a huge fan of Ontario knives for decades, but I am really disappointed of late.

I recently picked up a Ontario Rat 1 from a store that had them miss priced. Got it for a super low price thinking I mind as well try a OKC. Turns out, I absolutely love it. It is just as sturdy an...d sharp as many expensive blades I've owned. This Rat 1 will definitely turn into my EDC blade for now on. Highly recommend it for a knife beginner, all the way to a seasoned user. You won't be disappointed! See More

I had issues with an Ontario Kukri which became damaged. I live in Tasmania and had issues with Australia Post and US Customs they would not let me mail it back to New York. Customer service was They took what I said into consideration, asked for a photo of the damaged blae along with an explanation of what happed to cause the damage. Which I sent them. They were happy to replace my Kukri, and now I'm just waiting for it to arrive. Big thank you to the people I delt with. And as a Rat 1, and Rat 2 owner. I can safely say, Ontario makes a great product, while keeping their prices affordable. See More

I bought the Old Hickory 705 5pc kitchen cutlery set. I couldn't be happier. The Old Hickory knives are heirloom quality. I was happy enough with the kitchen cutlery that I bought an OKC 499 and Kukri... for outdoor use. Great knives, great American company. When i need new cutting tools in the future I will be looking at OKC products for sure. See More

The 499 Air Force Survival Knife is the most well constructed and overall best knife I've ever purchased. It will be my EDC blade for a long, long time. When the time comes for a new blade, I will be ...buying another one. Ontario 499 AFSK for life, the end. Thank you OKC. See More

My old swiss army knife developed a loose scale. I decided to try a Rat 2. It paid for itself this last snow storm. My snowblower ate a rope that immobilized it. A quick cut with the Rat 2 freed the b...lower & released the rope. The old knife wouldn't have managed it nearly so quickly or cleanly. See More
