I woke up a few minutes ago remembering 9/11.
I know I am not alone.
I doubt if I will get what I want. After all we are all individuals with different thoughts, different ways of doing things given the same rights of freedom.
What I would love though is for this whole day to be negative free on facebook and even in our day to day thinking. For every one of us to CHOOSE not to post anything derogatory. In fact no political post at all!!!
What I would love? For each of us t…o honor every person who died 17 years ago and every family, every friend every person whose life would never be the same after that day.
What I would love? For each of us to whisper not just one, but many prayers throughout the day for those who still suffer.
To recommit ourselves to coming together to unite ourselves. To do our part to stop the division and hate.
I have said before that we are all right and we are all wrong. What I mean by that is that in our differences we can still learn from each other. How sad it is though that it is easier to stay in the I am right and you are wrong mindset than it is to come together.
Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with ME!!!
I choose peace this day!!
And tomorrow!!
And the day after that!!
