Starting from tomorrow to this Saturday, over 25 booths with homemade delicacies and crafty workshops, as well as a series of live music performances will be held in Tong Chong Street. Don’t miss the festive street fair! 3 of our MBA Challenge teams will be raising funds in 3 of the booths too, so come and support them! The proceeds of the fair will go to Operation Santa Claus.

10km Charity Trail Run/Hike
Sunday 4th December 2016.
SCMP RTHK Operation Santa Claus every year raises money for local charities, this year is the 18th year t...hat The Island Bar has been involved with OSC and the first year to include a 10km trail run/hike.
Starting at the Yung Shue Wan plaza (next to the police station) will go around the back or the village to power station beach, up to the wind tower, down into the hills of TaiPing then along the trails to the old pipeline path that will lead you to the North Point at PakKok from there you will follow the coastline in to PakKok and then all the way back to the Island Bar at Yung Shue Wan.
This 10km trail will be open for 2 1/2 hours, so you even have enough time to walk the whole trail.
Race is limited to 100 people only.
Early bookings are advised via application for at The Island Bar.
Cost $250 including race shirt.

With funding from Operation Santa Claus, 35 autistic children from the underprivileged families are able to attend 45-minute speech therapy sessions at Rainbow Project’s centre on a weekly basis for HK$170 per class – a fifth of the full fee.

In no particular order, we would like to thank – - the food teams, for their creative display of culinary skills. Your dedication and hard-work came through and your enthusiasm and teamwork were truly inspiring - the caroling kids for doing what kids do best. Bringing Cheer to everybody’s life and displaying great enthusiasm, skill and discipline. The entire event was built around your caroling and without you kids, this event would never have been possible - the teens with their game and henna stalls for showing true dedication and creativity.
