Join the Orlando Singers for a festive afternoon in the panelled and galleried Old Dining Hall of Lytchett Minster School. With old favourite carols, recent classics and a few lighter finales, this is the perfect way to get into the Christmas mood - along with mince pies and a glass of fizz.

This is going to be a fantastic event. Already 80 local singers have signed for our workshop, and then to join us in singing Brahms's Requiem on the evening of 18 November. We'll also be singing a few pieces from our earlier concerts in 2017, in case you missed them. Come along to St Mary's, Swanage at 7.30pm to hear over 100 voices singing the wonderful Requiem.
Next up from the Orlando Singers: a programme of music associated with royalty and leaders, from Elizabeth I to Elizabeth II. Wimborne Minster, Sat 23 September. For more information about the programme, and to book advance tickets, visit: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/event/EMDFHM
Another piece requiring subtle handling, careful phrasing and well-controlled dynamics.
This wonderful miniature has to be sung with flexibility and dynamic subtlety. How did we do?

Last Saturday my first concert directing The Orlando Singers took place in Wells Cathedral. This was the first item, one of many lovely works in honour of the Blessed Virgin Mary, from six centuries.
After our Wells Cathedral concert on 17 June, there are three more events in our 2017 Season. Sign up for our mailing list to receive further details and online booking options.
