This week, we would like to highlight Uma Annamalai as Engineer of the Week! Uma is a 3rd year in computer science, and has been part of SWE since her freshman ...year. She loves all the professional development and networking opportunities SWE has provided, and has stepped into leadership roles for the last two years. She was the 2016-2017 Social Media Coordinator, and is currently the Treasurer. Uma also does research with Dr. Sarma, looking at the barriers and strategies used in task assignment in Open Source Software Communities (and just got published!), and will be starting her first MECOP internship in the Spring. Say hi to Uma at the next SWE meeting!
