Dixie County Emergency Services

Update, September 13, 2017. Dixie County EOC is still at a level 2 operations and will be open tomorrow from (9/14/17) from 7am-7pm.

Points of Distribution (...PODS) have been setup in TWO locations in the County. PODS have bottled water and "meals ready to eat" MREs.

PODs have been setup at the Trail Riders Club 294 NE 241st Street Cross City, Florida and the Old Town Elementary School 221 SE 136th Avenue Old Town, Florida.

There is NOT any FEMA assistance for Dixie County at this time. Dixie County Emergency Services has put in a request for FEMA assistance. To learn more about a federal declartion, visit FEMA's webiste, ( )

If your home has had major damage or has been destroyed due to Hurricane Irma, please call the American Red Cross 1-844-556-6582 to speak with a case worker.

Power Outage Update: Currently (as of 7pm) there are 3,087 out of the 9,460 customers in Dixie County without power, from both Duke and Central Florida Electric. To report power outages, you MUST contact your power company. Central Florida Electric's phone number is 1-800- 227-1302 and Duke's phone number is 800-228-8485.

Onion, tomato, zucchini, yellow squash, you can also use eggplant - Slice thin. After drizzling on olive oil, sprinkle on Italian seasoning, lemon pepper, sea salt, onion & garlic powder. Then mozzarella. Bake 375 approx 30 min, just depends on how firm you like your veggies.
