All flights from Wichita Falls Regional and Kickapoo Airports have been canceled for today due to icy runways.
I35 remains closed in both directions just South of Gainesville because of downed power lines due to heavy icing. Crews are working to install new power lines and until the job is complete, 35 will be closed. Oncor says it is currently unknown when power will be restored to homes and businesses in the area. Outages are also being reported in Henrietta, Jacksboro and Graham.

1130am update: sleet and freezing rain will continue to move northeast through the afternoon, and will begin to affect the OKC area during the lunch hour. Most ...of the precipitation will be sleet, which will cause travel conditions to go down hill pretty quickly once the sleet begins. This will continue through much of the afternoon. Be extra careful if you have to be on the road!
