My husband and I came here for a quick getaway. We were beyond impressed with Julie and their staff! Everyone was so professional and first class! The inn was beautiful and so well preserved. Every de...tail was perfect! From the roaring fire in the fireplace, to the cozy bed, and the amazing whirlpool tub, we were spoiled rotten—and loved every minute of it! We cannot wait to come back! Today, we left for home after a 5-night stay in the Copper Cottage room. The entire stay was AMAZING. From check-in to check-out, every detail was perfect. Our room was exactly what we wanted. The ...old wooden floors in the living room area gave it just the right feel, and the bathroom was the right mix of decorative and modern. Breakfast was our favorite part of this B&B. My wife even made the comment that she enjoyed the breakfasts more than any of the restaurants we ate at. Julie was very knowledgeable about the local area and gave us so many recommendations for our day trips (including the Red Light Roastery which was amazing). Overall, a great find in Hot Springs! We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. See More

The 1890 Williams House Inn is a charming little bed and breakfast. We stayed here with our 3 dogs and we loved it! The food was amazing and the inn keeper Julie was so sweet and very knowledgeable a...bout the area. She helped us plan things to do while we were there. The inn is located in the best stop because your close enough to the downtown area you could walk. It was only 20 mins away from about every place we wanted to visit! We stayed in the carriage house which was a little separate from the main house which is just what we needed with the dogs. Julie brought us breakfast every day except for the last 2 days so we could eat in the main dining room to visit with the other patrons. A Must stay if you are ever in Hot Springs! See More

My girlfriend and I were lucky enough to stay in the Williams' Suite of this beautiful little (not really little considering it's a Victorian Mansion!) gem nestled in the unique and picturesque town o...f Hot Springs for the New Years holiday. Our journey to discovering the house is in itself a bit of a story: I met the house's owner Lynda in Austin, TX, and through chatting with her learned about the B&B and the town of Hot Springs (didn't know much about it until then); after visiting the website, my girlfriend and I decided it was our fate to visit! And let me tell you we were not disappointed!
We packed our bags and made the drive from Austin to Hot Springs. Though we had looked at pictures of the house online, when we pulled up to the address we were struck by the magnificence of the house! And that's just from the outside. The inside is the most immaculately curated time capsule of the Victorian era, capturing all of it's over-the-top decadence. But let me say, despite the richness of the house's decor, it was still incredibly warm and inviting; all we wanted to do was just cuddle up inside (it was pretty chilly out!).
The moment we walked in Julie was there to greet us with a smile and a big welcome. She gave us a tour of the beautiful house, pointing out all of the interesting architectural quirks, sharing the story and history. The tour was probably a good idea because if we had explored on our own we might have gotten lost! There is just so much to look at and take in. I've never seen anything like it! Julie was also very helpful, giving us recommendations on where to eat, what to see and what to do. We pretty much followed every recommendation she gave, and it turns she knows what she's talking about! Also, my girlfriend is vegetarian, which Julie took into consideration for the breakfasts that would be served.
I'm going to pass the computer to my girlfriend now because I know she's going to have a lot to say about the enormous bathtub in the bedroom, which you can (and we did) spend hours in every day!

He's right! When we first walked into the room, I was blown away by how beautiful and regal it felt. The tub is right in the center of the room, next to a little fireplace, and it was absolutely incredible to come back after a fun day in the FREEZING weather and curl up in that huge, cozy tub. Julie was amazing for our entire stay. Somehow, she was always there when we needed her; she was very attentive and intuitive about our needs. Breakfast was delicious and different every day. We had breakfast in our room one morning, which was lovely, but the breakfast room was so beautiful that we decided to eat there each of the other mornings. It's a short walk to downtown and Bathhouse Row, where we found lots of restaurants and interesting shops to browse.

Ok, boyfriend here again! It's time to wrap this review up! Basically you gotta go to the 1890 Williams House if you want to live like Dr. Williams did back in the 19th century (he must have lived well!). And if you aren't familiar with Hot Springs, you're in for a surprise! We knew little to nothing about it beforehand; what we experienced was like a little village in the Swiss Alps full of Christmas lights and music...but in Arkansas!

What a beautiful, restful setting. Julie and her team were attentive to every need. The Turret Suite with its sitting room and light filled bedroom was perfect. (And your breakfast is delivered in ...this suite) The porches and verandas were right out of a movie. We didn't want to leave. See More

My husband and I stayed at the Williams house for our anniversary. Almost all of our stay was very pleasant. The person who cooks the food was a really nice guy and was very accomodating. I'm not a fan of eggs and he made me some of the best pancakes I've ever had. (Please tell him thank you for me.) The whirlpool tub did have and few not working jets in our room but we didn't really mind. I would suggest that anyone staying in the East chamber bring an extra fan or two because our last night was a little extra warm even with both fans going. We will be staying there again. See More

My stay at the Williams house was July 3rd through the 6th. Me and my husband traveled to Hot Springs to get Married on the 4th of July. We have been together 14 yrs,but never had a real wedding. We ...knew we wanted something very special. When we arrived it was very late at night and no one was awake. As we entered into our room I looked straight at my husband and said "I am going to be so happy getting ready here." The air in the room was not cold but it was so late I could not tell anyone. The next morning, I awoke to get ready for my wedding day. One of the ladies who ran the place knocked on my door. I opened my door and she let herself in. She immediately said it is so hot in here. She said she would fix it right away. I asked her if she could get me some wine or champagne and she said she would. The room never cooled down and I never got my champagne. She finally came when I was leaving and asjed if I still wanted the champs. I told her no i know had to leave. My make-up artist mentioned it again that the air never cooled. I thought well maybe it will cool when we return. When we returned home the room was even worse as if there was no air flow whatsoever. I called the owner and she told me to go turn the air on myself in the breakfast area. I went to turn down the air and nothing changed. My husband and I were up to 3 A.M because we were so hot. We had to remove all the covers from the bedding just to get any relief and sleep. The very next morning the owner knocked on my door and said why have you not left yet. I was astonished,I told her we did not sleep until 3 A.M because we had no air conditioning. She said well you need to be out so my maitenance can look at the air! I almost choked! But I held my composure and started to pack our belongings. As soon as we loaded the car I went and knocked on her door to speak with her. I told her, I was so upset the way she spoke to me. I explained to her me and my husband had waited 14 years for this special weekend and we have never been treated so poorly. All she could say was I am sorry and that's it. I was so upset because when my husband first proposed to me in Mexico our air conditioner in our hotel was out the whole time. It was like the bad memory all over again. The Owner also told my husband that she usually does not accommodate more than 2 guests in the inn. And that she saw we had more than two people and that she may have to charge a extra clean up fee! I was livid this was my beautiful wedding day and for her to even say this was insane! The Inn is beautiful but all the owner cares about is money and that's it! If this review keeps one person from visiting this Inn i will be one happy bride as she ruined my wedding stay that me and my husband so deserved See More
