#captivitykills #seaworld SeaWorld Orlando is on tour promoting their new "Antarctica Empire of the Penguin" exhibit and today the were set up inside the King of Prussia Mall. Pete and Penny are a pair of penguins who have apparently been traveling like this since they were born. They were the chosen (out of 14 traveling penguins) by the keeper in the video because they don't "nip" her like some of the others do. They flew on the plane from Orlando, will sleep in her hotel room tonight, and apparently they are given breaks from the public and are moved into an air conditioned room somewhere in the mall. Pete is 22 yrs old, Penny 15 yrs, and according to the keeper "our penguins have longer, better lives at SeaWorld then they would in the wild because they don't have to worry about predators". THIS CAN BE ADDED TO THE MANY REASONS WHY I BOYCOTT MARINE PARKS.

ARE THE PRISON TRUCKS COMING TO YOUR TOWN? THEY ARE IN CORVALLIS, OREGON TONIGHT. This is a typical circus cage on the back of a truck. It’s known as a beast... wagon. These prisoners are tonight’s entertainment for audiences at Jordan Circus World in Corvallis. Tomorrow they’ll be in Roseburg, OR. Studies reveal that tigers and lions in circuses spend 75-99% of their lives in cages like these. Food and water is shoved in through a gap in the bars. They live in a space approximately 8ft wide – that’s what you can fit on the back of a truck. They live in a metal box - the shutter above can be pulled down to completely entomb them. And, some people call it entertainment. NEVER GO TO CIRCUSES THAT USE ANIMALS. Support a local ordinance to stop the prison trucks rolling into your town – contact ADI. Back federal bill HR 1759 to ban these acts across the US.

Take action to support HR 1759, the Traveling Exotic Animal and Public Safety Protection Act (TEAPSPA), a federal bill to prohibit traveling wild and exotic animal acts in the US: http://bit.ly/SupportTEAPSPA
