I was shocked when a staff member stated you don't heartworm test any of the dogs. I hope this person was wrong. I adopted Hurley in October and was thankful for all the time I was able to spend with ...him prior to taking him home. Your long-term staff is amazing and you can tell a difference because their hearts are really in this. Don't lose them! I also wish you updated and promoted more of your available adoptable pets. Get these animals some individual spotlights! ;) Hurley is fabulous btw! See More

My son was bit by a dog (without warning from the animal and without my son doing anything to the animal) that they had had for a year and described it as very sweet and VERY friendly. They still hav...e this description of the dog on their website after nearly a month. This is inexcusable. They either don't know their animals very well or they are simply not being completely honest about the animals. See More

Awesome! Rick and the ladies were great to work with and we just love our new addition. Though she had a rough time she has healed nicely and has become quite mobile. Would truly recommend 5A's.
