CONGRATULATIONS SHELIA! You have won the bundle of fat quarters for leaving a comment on my blog. I've been out of town attending a Bernina event and had to wait until I got home to post. Imagine my surprize when I saw your post of your finished quilt. Now you are going to have a whole new project to start on. - The random number generator selected #9.

Francesca from Padova, Italy sent me this photo to post. She has finished 81 of her nine patch blocks! She mentioned that she only used one batik. Aren't they beautiful? I hope the photo shows up well, technology is being a little testy today.

I have to set my 9 patch project aside and get to work on a new batik quilt for Timeless Treasures. I've decided that true happiness is a brand new rotary blade! Don't forget to leave a comment on the blog and post your photos as you finish your projects!

Look what Kathy Smith did with her 9 Patch blocks! Thirties fabrics seem to have been popular with the group. Post your own photos to share with the group, or email them to me and I will post them for you. Send your photos to karen@thequiltcompany.com

Today is officially day 75 of our 9 Patch Project. Technically that means you should have 75 blocks. Don't worry if you have fallen behind, look at it this way, even if you have just a few, it is a few more than you started with! I started this project with a goal of 80 blocks for the proposed layout. That means you have 5 more days to catch up! Starting tomorrow (August 15) I will post one setting option each day on my blog. You can find the info at www.karensayssew.blogspot.com - but not until the 15th!
