My rating is for the principal at Eyler elementary. Mr. Krauss. Every morning I walk my daughter to the door , and every morning I see him standing outside ( even in cold weather ) to give every stude...nt a hi five and to greet them and welcome them to school. I think this is just one of the extra things he does to make sure the kids feel comfortable and puts an early morning smile on their face. Props to you and thank you for showing you care. See More

Attended FLL scrimmage last night at the ISD. Was so proud of all of our teams! They all were so polite and focused! They worked really hard, and were able to show off all of their work!

We attended the music program last night 11/08/17, at Wager, the students did a great job!! The teacher found a way to give every child a moment in the spot light!! I saw our beauty show a confident s...ide that she doesn't show often! Her smile. singing, dancing and reading was truly joyful!! See More

It's too cold to go outside, wait for the bus, and walk from the buses all the way to the building. Please cancel school tomorrow!! I'm freezing! The wind chill is supposed to be -15 tomorrow!

My hubby & I both went here so when we had the chance to move in this District I jumped on it. Although the majority of the Faculty & Staff are great there's some that needs to be fixed or replaced. H...ubby & I both are VERY involved parents BUT had some Faculty telling us it was too much. When I was at a game I was approached by someone who threatened my Daughter saying I need to stop saying things about hers or mine wasn't going to be on Cheer. I didn't get out of my seat she came to me. Her daughter was an adult mine was a Minor BUT I lost my privileges for going to the games her last year. The woman was allowed. My hubby went & had a meeting, with proof, that I NEVER got out of my seat but it still didn't help. Then before our son went to school hubby & I both asked for a meeting to discuss some personal matters. We ALL came to an agreement & ALL signed it. One of the bigger powered Faculty told us right in front of the Superintendent & other Faculty that he will try the agreement but he felt it wasn't going to help since he was going to end up in jail anyways. Then my son was under contract to be able to walk halls if he got upset, as long as no one was around, to get out of his Anxiety BUT he was approached by a teacher that asked him if he was Retarted because he didn't hear her. Again in the contract we ALL signed stated he didn't have to answer to anyone even staff just to show the special pass he had but she still sent him to the office. He got kicked out for Insubordination. Needless to say we (hubby & I) had another meeting over this. Still didn't help!! Then when it got warmer outside they told him he could walk on the sidewalk right in front of the office BUT when he went to do that a teacher grabbed him. So he pulled away & went to open the door & his fist went through the glass (my hubby had to deal with this himself because I was in the hospital for 2 months) so he went to the office & talked to the Deputy along with both Principals. In that meeting he was told if we paid for the door they wouldn't press charges needless to say we got to the court BUT when the Prosecutor called the Deputy he never said that. So he got a huge fine over an accident. (PLEASE know I don't make excuses when he has done things but this was an accident. But we paid for the door almost $400 & not too long after that they changed the whole front of the school. So after my son went back to school after 10 day suspension CRAP happened that day he returned. I actually had a Drs note saying he has Severe Anxiety that he was getting Ulcers & on medicine for it. We ALL got together again & within a couple days they were at it again. So hubby, myself, & my son ALL talked it out as much as we didn't want to allow him to quit school it was told, by the Dr, it would be BEST for his Health. So I asked if we could get him signed up through the 20/20 Computer schooling BUT was told there was NO room. I would like to do a shout out to Mrs. Rachel Swank & Mr. Luko were AMAZING through ALL this. So after he was out my Daughter was a target until my hubby went up there & complained. So now that she's Graduated I wanted to share this now that I DON'T have to worry about anyone having a target on them. ALL I can say is that I wish they would try to bring more fun with Faculty & make GREAT memories then to make them feel like it's prison. I know my son isn't the ONLY student who's been through this BUT Ty for letting me share. (Sorry to all my Grammar teachers for Punctuation) See More

Some incredible students at Airport High School in Interact Club have organized a toy drive for donation to Mott's Children's hospital, inspired by an AHS sophomore Connor Bint who is currently fighting brain cancer. Please take the time to watch this video & make sure to donate between November 10-24. Special shoutout to the amazing students heading up this drive: Joe Abel, Jenna Gadille and none other than Connor Bint himself! You guys are truly inspiring. Thank you for all that you do! #PrayforConnor

Connor's surgery went great! The Airport Interact club has created another inspiring video featuring footage from Connor himself post-surgery, and he's doing amazing! We are all in awe of his bravery. More info about the toy drive starting on Monday, November 10 from these inspiring kids here: #PrayforConnor #JetPride
