Attempting to log into my account, was told that it was incorrect login or password.

Requested to reset the password. When resetting the password, attempted to use preferred password which should h...ave been the password already, was told that it had already been used. No kidding.

Why are we not able to place a hold on a book for pickup in my daughter's account online. It has worked before without any trouble. There are no fines, or any other notations on the account. This has shown up before. I'm sure it's for no apparent reason that they can begin to explain - again.

Why is there a, "Library Assigned Block" IN RED on my daughters account and showing that I, as the parent of a minor, am NOT authorized to pick up Holds? How does that genius thought process work.

They also issued a library card to someone to whom we are not related with my daughter's information but not our address and we already had three library cards for our household. They told me that they deactivate them every year. That sounds like taxpayer dollars hard at work. We lived at the same house for over 6 years but we can feel confident that they will throw our information out every year for no apparent reason.

One staff member imparticular is extremely rude. Didn't catch her name but she has short auburn/redish hair and wears glasses. Gave my 9yr old problems and comintued to harass him cause she "thought" ...he was playing games on the computers. I explained to her that it was strictly homework and for a grade (we don't own a computer). She continued to be rude and harass us again the next day about his work (and only him no one else). I've always been a customer there with no problems. I'm an avid reader but that was uncalled for toward my son. This will be the last time I go there for anything. I only wish I caught her name. Love it. The section for Children's/Preschoolers was larger than any other... I mean they have an amazing selection. On Wednesday there is a Children's Reading Hour, you can check out 50 books per lib...rary card (Miette can't get her card until she is ten)and you can also check out 15 DVDs or Blu-ray's per library card. They give you 2 weeks before returning everything and only .10 a day for late fees. The women (librarians) were so very helpful! See More

I want to thank the library for letting us do memory screenings there this week. Anyone who missed it can have a memory screening done at St. John's. on Saturday during their health fair. That is here... in Alvin across from H.E.B. See More

Story time is a joke. Heaven forbid you have a baby with you. You'll get dirty looks if you baby cries. If you bring an older child, they won't be allowed on the kids computers during story time. Good... luck having them help you out with books. They hate to have you interrupt their YouTube time. See More
