HARRY IS 50!!! 2017
I shoulda titled this as "The party that almost wasn't!!" Who knew we'd have such a hard time getting Harry to come to the Legion?????
But, the Legion Folks know how to entertain themselves - the balloons were flying around the room!!!
And, where else do you find children blind-folded and hande a broom handle to swing at pinatas in a crowded room??? Or, even better, giving a ballbat to a blindfolded newly 50 year old???? Our Legion knows how to PARTY!!
All... in all, a GREAT party at the Legion!!!!
Thank you to EVERYONE who helped Harry CELEBRATE turning Half a Century!!!
(Holy Crap, I took alotta pics!! Feel Free to tag!!)

Vickie Kennison-Kujanpaa added 129 new photos to the album: STOCKING STUFFER SHOPPING 11-25-2017 — with David Burch and 3 others.

AMERICAN LEGION POST 103 generously donated to OPERATION S.T.A.T. for their Christmas stockings for hospitalized VETERANS. The Riders had a BLAST shopping!!!

An...d, we made a FRIEND along the way. At the Dollar Tree , there was a Gentleman who was curiously watching what we were doing there- the conveyor was full, the Manager was actually handling our order.. When it was explained to him what we were doing- what we were about that day, he offered to pay HALF OUR BILL!!! This totaled to a considerable amount, and, he STILL was TRUE to his WORD and paid HALF OUR BILL from this Dollar Tree!!!
GOD BLESS YOU, RICKY TURNER!!

We would like to thank the REGULARS, the SONS. the LADIES AUXILIARY, and the RIDERS for coming together for the promise of a SMILE for a VETERAN for CHRISTMAS!!

Thank you, Kymberlie Oliver & Andrew Oliver, for allowing us to store our treasures!!

Also, thanks to Becky & David Burch, Harry Godfrey Jr and Carol Godfrey, Patty Jenkins Steve Debevc, Geno Rostocil & Mike Cybulski for giving up their day to do the shopping!! It truly made ME smile to watch you all scurrying around picking your favorites to be added in the cart, guessing the cost, and, watching the final 2 quarters of the Ohio State/Michigan game while enjoying lunch at the Alibi!!
GREAT TIMES with GREAT FRIENDS!!
