I grew up in #newyorkcity #brooklynheights to be exact I decided to weigh in here. The 1970's were a difficult period in the history of the city. There were deficits, crime, graffiti, but the city still had the museums, #broadway and many other things. #COVID has been a gamechanger. Definitely an understatement. The cultural institutions didn't have to close in the previous periods. Those institutions had to close this year. People still went to work in the past. In ...another article I read a statistic about the Time Life Building. 8000 employees before. Fewer than 500 now. Why be jammed in at Grand Central, when you can work from your home in Brewster? New Canaan? No Saturday cultural activities to go to.

To add to the fun, the city is nine BILLION in debt.

This is about who wants to be #Mayor of New York City. One good thing if you want to be Mayor. You have a fairly good idea what you are getting yourself inro. Not sure how comforting this is, but there you are. You have to deal with the economic issues, rising crime, with #police handcuffed. The schools, the cultural institutions.
You don't need to know everything, but you need to know who to ask for help. You still need a massive ego You really think you can get this right? If you can, I guess #President is next. Good luck. You'll need it. Thank you to the #newyorkpost for this editorial. A shout out to the many #newyorkers in my world.

I discovered Hannah Fry on PBS July 31st, 2020 I am always trying to educate myself and with the insanity going on this year, a welcome break.
I was terrible at Math growing up. If Professor Fry taught me Math, I might have had a better understanding, but at the age of sixty-three, I am working to understand the Mathematical world.
It does seem amusing, though. What did you do Saturday night? Watched videos about #Mathematics, with a great teacher. Sounds like #Python....
