Bram Stadhouders vs AuxPulse

Did you know Michael and I wrote a full length acid/electro album some years ago? All sounds designed on the Nintendo DS. Inspired by classic Rephlex records etc. We improvised for 3 or 4 hours in Stedelijk Museum as a release gig. KORG DS-10 was/is a great tool for improv. -AuxPulse

Rutger released his classical/ambient/techno debut album as Von Nohrfeldt...

"After 5 years in the making, Protokols holds 43 minutes of mystic ambient-techno inflicted with elements of darkly emotional classical music (from baroque vocals to microtonal cellos) and the occasional quirkiness. Balancing on the edge of "club music", droning and rhythmic patterns form a driving foundation, but are confronted with asymmetric and atonal disturbances. Spatiality is crucial to the compositions, as sound layers range from ear-close whispers to cathedral-wide reverberations. The organic qualities of acoustic, human played, instrumentation are contrasted with digital effects like time-stretching and glitching. This aesthetic expresses a conflict between ancient, spiritual serenity and hectic, globalised, cutting-edge culture. "
