Earth Day 7K Trail Run & Walk - 10:00 am Sunday, April 22nd
Wachtmeister Field Station, Canton NY
Nature Up North and the St. Lawrence Land Trust invite you to join us for the Third Annual Earth Day 7K Trail Run/Walk on Sunday, April 22, 2018. The race starts at 10:00 am (9:30 am, walkers) at the Wachtmeister Field Station on Route 27 in Canton. The 7-kilometer (approximately 4.4-mile) course connects the Kip and Saddlemire Trails at St. Lawrence University, passing through s...cenic forests and wetlands along the Little River. The flat terrain makes this course a suitable for runners and walkers of all fitness levels. The course will be well marked, with volunteers at all major intersections. Short road segments connect the longer stretches of trail. Be prepared for a few muddy sections.
Pre-register by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, age, gender (optional) and whether you plan to run or walk the course. Registering ahead is encouraged, but you may also sign up in person on race day.
There is a suggested donation of $5-20 for this race. Proceeds will be split between the St. Lawrence Land Trust and Nature Up North, and will benefit local conservation and environmental education projects. Bagels, fruit and water will be available after the race, and there will be a prize raffle with chances to win local maple syrup, gift certificates to local businesses, and Nature Up North shirts and hats.

Choir! Choir! Choir! is a weekly drop-in singing event in Toronto. Equal parts singing, comedy, and community-building, the night unfolds like a dream: you get a lyric sheet at the door, DaBu teach you the vocal arrangement, and a video is recorded. Everyone has a ball and goes home feeling great!
And every so often they have special guest singers.
Never gonna...get sick of this song...lol
