I understand you just opened back up after a short break. The establishment was great, it looked like it had great potential. However, we grabbed drinks and dashed this afternoon because we felt bad f...or the bar server. She was running around like crazy trying to maintain the bar area by herself when it was fully occupied. Kudos to her for having a good attitude and working so hard, she was fantastic. We witnessed you guys lost 4 tables within a half hour in the bar area because she could not clean off the tables for them to sit while maintaining the incoming orders. Help a girl out! You're losing business being short staffed, or not using staff accordingly. See More

This place has a beautiful view of the water however the service at lunch today was below par and I literally watched the waiter stick his finger in empty water glasses as he was setting up a table ne...xt to me. The food was so-so for the prices that they charge. See More

Matt was our excellent server, attentive but not intrusive, didn't catch the host/floor manager name but he was also 5 stars! Food was delicious, hot and fresh! We had the small plate fondue and a s...almon feta pizza, and cocktails. We will definitely be back! See More

We are here for lunch and thought the food, service and ambiance were outstanding! We've had clam chowder all the way up the coast and this was the best chowder I've ever had. The food is fresh, bread...s and desserts are homemade-be sure and order the Baked Alaska for dessert-a homemade chocolate chip cookie, vanilla ice cream all baked in a meringue-its heaven! See More

Food was good and the service was good. The view was beautiful. Will certainly go there again when I am in town.

Unfortunately, the clam chowder tasted like it came out of a can, the scallops were gritty, undercooked, and underseasoned.

We would have said something, but our service was so horrible, that we di...dn't have an opportunity.

For a restaurant that Prides itself on being on the water in a fish town, I would not recommend going here. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Spent the day visiting Astoria. Was looking for a place to enjoy the views. This place was great! Nice table overlooking the river and great pizza.

We've eaten here twice in a several month spread apart. Absolutely love the place. Not sure where the negative reviews came from? Both times I've visited it's been fantastic. Granted the place is busy... and the staff can only do so much to accommodate each customer.
Relax and enjoy the killer view!
Will be back in September!

Service was extremely poor. Was felt very rushed by the waitress & staff. Didn't attend to us very well. The Cubano sandwich had too much mustard & hardly any meat. The pizzas we ordered were aweful. ...Hardly any toppings. The margarita pizza was missing cheese (a main ingredient) on one side of the pizza. They took it back to fix the problem but ended up ruining the pizza even more. They put a glob of cheese on the missing part & then burnt the basil when they put the pizza back in the oven. Didn't even eat the pizza. Prices are outrageous. $4 for a glass of milk??? We felt like outcasts as other guests were getting exceptional service & food. Tried getting our money back but was only refunded a quarter of the bill. Will not be going back & will tell others to not go there as well. See More

Pizza was cold. The crust was soggy in the middle. It wasn't the best pizza I ever had. We waited for 5 minutes for someone to show up at the front counter to seat us. Then we waited another 10 minute...s for the server to show up. Then she only came back by to give us our bill. Never checked on us during the meal. Needless to say we will not be back. See More

Food was decent, but service was mediocre at best, especially from the hostess. No thank you, or come see us again as we left. No refill on our drinks either during dinner, even though the place was n...ot super busy. The fries with the fish and chips I had were limp and soggy and tasted undercooked. Their chef should go a couple doors down to Frite and Scoop to learn how to make great crispy fries. That's what we did to have some amazing fries. My wife @[1498154849:Heather] did enjoy the clam chowder. See More

Service, ambiance and food: Five stars for each, so a total of 15 stars! I rank it this way over many, many visits. Sometimes just three of us and once as many as 10 in our party. Staff remember ...us, even remembering my son's name. Location, location, location. Always exciting and dramatic river views -- watch the bar and river pilots get on and off moving ships. The food is created by a chef and excellently prepared. Each time. True value for an important event in our lives -- dining with friends and family. See More

Terrible service, wait staff apologizing for their cooks. Food was way to salty. If you only purchased the main meal you wouldn't be full. We got the 33.00 for 3 choices. Which at most places wou...ld be a full meal and we were still left hungry after the meal. Its over priced and rated to highly by locals. It took over 45 minute's to receive oir first course. Over all time thier 2 and a half hours. We should have walked out after we received our soup. See More
