Nice cozy place to have great cocktails with friends. There are no big signs for the place. It's a simple door to the building in the back of the parking lot. V...ery friendly service.
I just had to say what I felt like having and amazing preparation was prepared. I was surprised to find Old Monk rum at this place. Overall a nice experience!

Fabulous cocktails and being from LA - I am a huge sucker for speakeasy's. This is a perfect speakeasy - nestled in an alleyway, hard to find - of course, grea...t lighting and intimate ... just like how speak easy's are. Loved my "el Camino" cocktail - had some chili 🌶 and spice to it. I recommend sitting up top at the bar. So cozy and comfortable on a Seattle winters night. See More

What a great little secret place! Anthony and Nicole were so fun and took great care of us.. we were lucky enough to get in without waiting long at all.. no ...seats left so we stood by the bar and socialized with the staff who are all amazing people. We are adding this place to our regular Friday night route!! See More

Absolutely the best oma kase cocktail experience in Seattle. Order what you like for the first round, but then let your barteunder plot the rest of your journey. Expertly made, well-balanced cocktails in a super relaxed atmosphere. What's not to like?

Josh was our bartender & was simply amazing to watch make the amazing cocktails he did. This was my second time here, my hubby thought I was insane wandering do...wn the alley while we were looking for a place to have a cocktail. He was VERY impressed. Josh even went to find a barrel aged gin for my hubby's fancy cocktail. I will always be back. Obviously it was crowded & you had to be patient for a seat, but most customers were fabulous. One even let me taste her single malt...yum, I have a new favorite! See More

Went tonight. Stood in line for 30 mins for a table for 4. They gave us one for 3. The credit card receipt from the party before us was on the table and the omi...nous note for the server on slip basically said no tip - the service sucked. We wait another 15 mins for the same server to take drink order - and maybe 15 more to actually get drinks. That weren't made correctly.

In summary? Horrible drinks. One bathroom. But the total lack of service and the aura of arrogance displayed by each employee I interacted with is really why I'm posting this. Overall? #EpicFail - if you want to be douchey do it in another town, not ours.

Place is awesome! The server working last night 11/2/2016 was great. Sweet 90's hip hop flowing through the speakers sipping great cocktails...How can it get any better? Just an awesome place. Hand drawn receipt was siiiiiick!!!

We're from out of town and went last night with friends. We couldn't have had a better experience! Everything was absolutely delicious, I think a Death Star is ...hands down my new favorite drink of all time. Service was excellent, the atmosphere was everything I want in a speak easy. Comfortable, cozy, pretty, etc.
If you have the opportunity, definitely check this place out! You won't be disappointed.

I would have loved it - if the service was a bit more attentive and kind. But I would recommend it because of the atmo and bartending skills. I worked in the se...rvice industry many ions ago and understand that perhaps she was just having a bad night. Also, I said I didn't like sweet and my first cocktail was uber sweet and I had to ask for water 3 times. See More

My google review for Bathtub and Gin Co.

"So I will start out by saying I used to love this place and always took friends from out of town to score cool point...s. Honestly great drinks and very cool atmosphere. This is all up until last night.
So from the moment we were seated by the extremely friendly bouncer in the pink pants our server was a complete bitch to our group. We were all dressed up and in a great mood. Starting out our Birthday pub crawl there after eating sushi at Japonessa (Which btw was amazing).
We were not drunk or even partially lit. Just in a great mood having a great time. Enter the server. Miss buzz kill. From the very moment she interacted with us you could either tell A: She was having a bad day and didn't flip the customer service switch on when she got to work. Or B: Just didn't like us for whatever reason. Maybe it's cause she was pale and pasty without make up and frazzled hair and our girls in the group were all on point with nails, make up and outfits. Who knows.

So the birthday girl orders first and she begins explaining she's never been there and what does she do or how does she order a special drink there. The girl asks do you like sweet stuff? She said yes, I like vodka as well, not rum or bourbon, not over the top sweet with tons of sugar.
The server in a VERY rude tone says "You've told me a lot of stuff you don't like, how about something you do?!" Her tone cut the room and it was like daddy slapped mommy at the dinner table. We all kind of nervously laughed but it was meant to be rude and not funny.

Fast forward a bit later. We are in the Library with our first drink laughing and taking pictures. Another group joined us in there and we are all mingling and cracking up. During part of this convo where everyone is talking my buddy called me a "niggah" in some joking friendly context and nothing was even thought of it. Apparently miss stick up her ass was standing there and took offense. Told the management we were being inappropriate and were then asked to leave. I get we live in a society where everyone is offended by everything. He said it TO me. Not her. Not anyone else.

So I figured I would take the high road and just simply apologize for our behavior. She had mentioned that "guests" had heard it and they had zero tolerance for this behavior. So I asked her to please tell the guests we offended we were sorry and this isn't a good representation of our group. We were leaving and embarrassed and very sorry. Well she took this opportunity to tell me it was in fact her that heard it and she/the bar had zero tolerance. She was RUDE as fuck telling me it was now time to go.

Honestly shocked. Everyone just sat there like wtf? I mean how bad is your life that someone actually apologizes sincerely to you for something they really don't need to. Instead of being cool at that moment you take the opportunity to step on me again to make yourself feel ... what?? In power or in charge!?

Horrible experience. Sadly I will never be back to this establishment. It's become another presumptuous hipster hang out where words between friends apparently cause big issues with the unhappy staff.

Maybe I am just old as fuck but when I grew up we had a saying "sticks and bones" baby. Fuck this place. My friends are the FARTHEST thing from racists and we were all so shocked at this. Anyway as long as you watch your mouth the drinks are good and the bouncer is amazingly friendly. Just watch out for the bitchy staff."

Came for a holiday to seattle from australia and this was my favourite liquor bar in downtown seattle. Fairly priced, quality drinks and great service. A real experience!

Fun place with an exclusive vibe. Mostly because of the door guy, but still pretty cool. And good drinks.
