Happy Valentine's Day #Bauhauslovers! ♥︎
For the special ocassion we’ve got a little #Weimar love story for you!

It’s often said that Goethe fell for our beautiful city, but he also lost his heart at first sight of Christine Vulpius in 1788. At that time she worked as a cleaning lady in a small Weimar hat factory. While she offered a petition for her brother she asked Goethe for help, who immediately fell in love for her. Although the Weimar court and the society reject the... unbiased connection, they continued their love relationship. Their relationship was finally accepted when they married in 1806.
