Ok, hi! How was everyone's March Break? It definitely went by fast for us but it's nice to get back to the old routine again...anyhoo, I have a ton of new stuff I've finished and won't have room to show you all of it, but here's a sampling. This is just the jewelry I have listed in my sister shop but I also have some new fabric pillow covers, pouches and embroidery hoops in my other shop so I will show you those later! www.blackcatmeowshop.etsy.com
Well, it wouldn't be a proper Friday here if it wasn't another PA day. And it's a 4 day weekend too! Let's see if I can get the kids to do any homework....anyhoo, in other news, I've been making a whole lot of jewelry (or jewellery if you're British?) in my other Etsy shop and just wanted to show you a few things. So here they are. There's lots more to see including more lighting bolt stuff (I love lightning bolts) and you can find them all at www.etsy.com/shop/blackcatmeowshop
Well about time I update again! I've been working hard on many different projects, I am a Gemini after all, (aka, I can't focus). I'm slowly building up my jewellery in my 2nd Etsy shop, which I'll show you some of in an upcoming post. Or, just go visit and see for yourself if the waiting is going to cause some sort of self implosion: www.etsy.com/ca/shop/Blackcatmeowshop And in other news, I have a bunch of new fabric things, pouches, pillow covers, embroidery, and the usual. I'm also preparing some wholesale things for a store in Hamilton so, I'm busy, you know?
Happy new year everyone! About time I updated here, yes? I'm back to work now that the kiddos are back to school and have LOTS of new stuff! If you'd like to see it all you must check out my shops, and guess what? I'm now on Amazon Handmade! Right now I have about 15 or so pillow covers, they are the same as what's in my main Etsy shop, but I soon hope to have a separate Amazon shop for different things like my jewelry, embroidery, knits, etc. Just need to get it all organized and all that jazz. Also, I'm going to be re-joining the One of a Kind online shop so stay tuned. I know you're on the edge of your seat. Don't fall off.
Hey everyone! Just wanted to remind you all of the craft show tomorrow, this will be my last one of the season. This is a good thing as I'm so in the craft show zone I'm saying things to my kids like, "The counter is on the milk" and I am literally getting in the car to run an errand and completely forgetting where I'm going. Just driving. I'm sure other craft show vendors would relate. Anyhoo, if you're in the area, swing by, this is going to be a good one. Remember too that there's swag bags for the early people. Check out the website for more info. https://www.facebook.com/events/105296920132118/
A huuuuge thanks to everyone who made it out to Friday's Night Market. It was a pretty awesome event with a great vibe of vendors and customers. I was pretty pooped on Saturday and after watching my boys' hockey game and grocery shopping, I did a whole lot of nothing, so I think that's a good sign. Or I'm just super out of shape.
Anyways, next week I'm doing kind of a fun thing - I'll be in Hamilton participating in Studio 205's Pop-up showcase. It's my turn this Friday and I'll be there in the aft until 9pm. There's a whole bunch of fun stuff happening on the street that night from 6-9pm so drop by if you're in the area!
Hey everyone! Just a quick message to remind you that this Friday I'll be participating in St. George's Night Market. This is going to be a great show - there will be food, wine, and crafts. Honestly, what else do you need? https://www.facebook.com/events/1911324765802927/
Hey everyone. FYI, I'm writing this with a cat on my lap. Never mind, he's beside me now. Anyways, as usual, this is another sporadic post with whatever pics of my work I can find that I don't think I've shown you yet. Nothing different today.
Oh, and I am JUST starting to feel better after having the stupidest, longest sinus infection in history, ever. That's right, friends. My posts are not only FYI, but they're TMI. So there you have it.
Wait! Also, I'm making boxy pouches now! They're super adorable and fit tons of stuff! AND, I have tons of knitwear and earrings in my other shop (scroll down to the last post for my Etsy sister shop link) Ok, I'm done now, really. For real.
Happy Monday everyone! I've got lots of new things in both of my shops (the knitty shop and my pillow covers/pouches shop) so go check them out if you'd like! I have 2 upcoming shows, St. George Market in Nov. and Burlington Made in Dec., see my Events section for more details. These are knit boot cuffs you see in my pics here, they are super comfy and warm and only $22, that's a bargain if you ask me. Also remember that I'm @blackcatmeow on Instagram. If you follow me, I'll probably follow you back, unless you seem overly weird/creepy. Oh, and here's the link to my knits shop on Etsy, I don't think it's anywhere on my fb page: www.etsy.com/ca/shop/Blackcatmeowshop
Hey everyone! Well today actually feels like legit fall so I'm thinking it's safe to put away the summer clothes for the second time this year? Anyway, firstly, thanks to all who came to the Etsy MIC show this past Saturday, at any location. Secondly, I have a crazy amount of new things I've been working on and it would take me forever to post it all here but I'll show you some highlights. If you'd like to see everythingI have in my shops plus the things I bring straight to m...y shows, you can check out the link to my shop on the right plus my 'sister' shop where I keep my knits and some of my jewelry. AND, I really try to keep my Insta up to date so check me out at @blackcatmeow.
Ok, so first up is my new jewelry. I've been working a lot with upcycled leather (thanks to my and my brother's old late 80s jackets that my parents stashed) plus lace and some other things. I am slowing starting to list these on my sites but haven't really listed many of them yet, so if you're interested, pm me and I'll set you up! That's all for today, time to get those fall boots out from the basement!
The Hamilton Etsy MIC show is tomorrow guys! The shows are happening all across Canada so check if there's one near where you live. I should also mention that I made these cute things for the swag bags which are free for the first lucky 50 people who show up tomorrow morning.
One of my pillow covers was featured in the Hamilton Spec today, woohoo! Check out all the other great artists and their goods, they'll also be at the show next weekend! www.thespec.com/…/7557760-hamilton-etsy-maker-showcase-com…/
Well I'm once again busy working now that the kids are back to school. I've been working on a whole boat load of things, many I've posted on my Insta page @blackcatmeow and some I'll put here too as I catch up! Here's a few embroidery things I've done as gifts in the last few months. Tomorrow: earrings!
Hey Everyone! Hope your summer has been a good one. School is on the horizon which means I'm back to work soon. Just wanted to share this great event in that I'll be a part of in just a few short weeks. This is happening all over Canada on the same day so find the one closest to you and support your local artists!
Hey, hope everyone's having a great and busy summer like we are! I've added a few things to the shop including these cute maple leaf embroidery hoops. Also: save the date for Sep. 23rd. The Etsy Made in Canada Show is happening all across Canada and I'll be at the Hamilton location! I'll post the link soon!
Hello everyone! It's summer and that means things will slow down a wee bit for me for the next two months as my little people are home with me. I'll still be adding to the shop, just not doing custom right now. Check out my shop if you'd like to see more!
Happy Friday everyone! Thanks for those who came to the HIH show a few weeks ago!
I've been making lots of new things, most of which you can check out in my shop. My Tommy Bahama swaying palms clutches are verrrry popular right now and so let me know if you're interested in one. They're a good fit for an iPad mini, or for a night out, cause they're that fancy, you know?
Also new are some flannel padded pouches that you can use for glasses or anything that needs a little protection.
And: Coming soon, I'm opening a shop on Amazon for their handmade section. Just weeding through their strange interface and listing requirements right now but it will hopefully be up and running before the end of next week!
