I am going to start paying 50% Referral Commissions for groups with 10 or more employees. You can earn 50% of the first year commission at the standard commission level on the health insurance policies for groups you refer to me, that I am able to write with BCBSNC. Right now commissions are about $26 per person per month, so a 10 person group at 50% would pay $130 per month, or $1,560 for the year. 20 would pay $260 per month, or $3,120 for the year. 50 would pay $650 per month, or $7,800 for the year. To earn referral commission, you cannot be the owner of the policy, or be involved in making the decision to choose the policy. You also may not sell, solicit, or negotiate insurance products unless you are a licensed agent NC-GS § 58‑33‑82.

2. Health insurance policies must be portable with no pre-existing waiting periods for those currently insured and no re-rating as long as the policy is the same or lower benefit. This will allow policy holders to switch insurance companies whenever they
1. Healthcare provider fee schedules need to be publically available as do the negotiated rates between providers and insurance companies. This will create competition between providers on price and quality. Right now providers compete only on quality,
