It's National Pet Day, and I want to show my sweet natured Wink. We had her long before the first little girl was even a thought. And even though she's getting a little long in the tooth, she's still the heartbeat of the family.
Because the girls "love" on her so much(pic 1), she is often found hiding under this chair(pic 2).
All right ladies(or men who'd like something nice to give their ladies) The Fetching Mrs. Basham is giving away this Anthropologie dress and a $25 gift certificate to the movies. Just go to Megan Basham-A Cute Mess Blog to enter.
I'd enter myself, but I don't think it'd fit.
At ACuteMess.com we’re all about encouraging moms and dads to get out without the kiddoes. We’re also all about dresses that make the hubs go 😍! This is a fun way to put your body in pain. Just kidding(sort of). Check out my story on Aerial Fitness, and then let me know how it goes when you give it a try.
So proud of Brian Basham for powering through our class a couple weeks ago. Check out his story! See you soon Brian, we hope you bring the rest of the WCCB, Charlotte's CW crew with you!
Yep, I just watched a rat take a shower like a human...the whole thing.
Video of this woman's interview with WCCB, Charlotte's CW has gone viral--it was viewed over 1 MILLION times on youtube! For good reason, I say. (Courtney Francisco we owe you for bringing Shirley Nash's "fat and sassy" wisdom to the world!)
This info would have come in handy a couple of weeks ago, but here's a video explaining the fastest way to De-Fog your windshield.
Defroster fan on highest setting...
Temperature control on its hottest

Recirculate turned off
Crack your windows
Need a little Christmas spirit? Snow Cam on top of Grandfather Mountain.
Hey Friends and Family,
I want to invite you to check out The Fetching Mrs. Basham's new blog "A Cute Mess": http://acutemess.com.
If you know her, you know how funny, smart and, yes, very cute she is (the messy part's true too, but she's so cute, I let her get a way with it.) Sign up for the newsletter and you'll get new posts showcasing some Bash fam adventures while getting style and home design tips. (I'm a little less happy about the home design part as I have a sinking... feeling that's going to involve me spending my days off with nail guns, spackle, and such rather than in front of the TV. But the things we do for love...)
So stop by to read why she's doing it here (hint, it's probably not why you think) and why she wanted to do her first pics at Costco: http://acutemess.com/2017/11/29/whyastyleblog/. And check her (and the rest of us) out on Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/thebashfam/.
Give it up for The Fetching Mrs. Basham, folks—at 7 pm Wednesday night she was reminded it was Dr. Seuss Dress Up at school the next day. One trip to Michaels and three hours later and, voila!
(Oh, and she wants everyone to know the line in the circle was *on purpose* because, “that’s how it was in the picture!” And “Stop saying it was a mistake! That’s not funny! It was NOT a mistake!” Also, she’s not OCD at ALL!)
My wife is suddenly having a verrrrrrry good day. Amazon must be hoping Lord of the Rings will do for them what Game of Thrones did for HBO..
What do you think fantasy fans – – will you be signing on for this one, or were Peter Jackson’s films enough? Could this series be as big as Game of Thrones??
The Fetching Mrs. Basham and I 16 years after saying I do—dinner in uptown and Jim Gaffigan show for our sweet sixteen. At least one of us has gotten better with age.
Love you so much and can’t wait to share the next 16!
