It’s a mix of rooms of varying media, one being a short term contempo-modern art gallery, however there was a very interesting area on the history of Hampstead Heath which as it was a green space dona...ted to the poor is rather ironic how posh it is now!!

The Sunday dinner in the cafe is quite good, but (this is a very American complaint) it was so much food, so flavorful and so expensive that I would have liked to take away the remainder. I easily had two meals out of it. Alas, they said no. English think WE are big eaters but we often plan to take half home... Sad/wrong to leave that much food to the dump.

The museum itself is beautiful. However we had afternoon tea in the cafe and l had to request the waiter to warm the scones as they were stone cold. He didn’t look too happy which impacted on the expe...rience.
Otherwise, a lovely place.

It was really marvellous seeing Yuri Sabatini again but for first time I saw the fantastic Antiono Ricco playing the piano .

Yuri Sabatini was singing and Antonio Ricco accompanied him on the piano ....

It was uplifting peformance on Sunday 28th May 2017 @ 7:10pm - 21:10pm.

I would love see them both their again soon.

It was my first time at Burgh House and Hampstead Museum and I was in the audience with More Than Just A Choir and many others watching it. It was my dream come true

I love this place every time I visit it. So full of history. Have known it a long time! Had little wedding reception here in 1968 (!!) and will have 50th anniv. gathering there too. It used to be a... Citizens Advice Bureau as well, in 1968. The building remains as beautiful and welcoming as ever. May it remain so well cared for - for ever! See More

Top event on Sunday with Peter Lyons and Eugene Feygelson. Event was managed very well and the staff were extremely welcoming. A beautiful and idyllic setting amidst the urban sprawl of a big city.

Here is our roundup of the first day of #MuseumWeek! As part of #secretsMW, we shared an interesting (and rather foul) anecdote regarding one of our former residents; a sneak peek video-tour round our Museum store (see below!) & some brief insight in to small museum budgets. Catch up with us over on Twitter @BurghHouse1704 and stay tuned for tomorrow, when we'll be elaborating on the people that have made Burgh House such a special place. Happy bank holiday Monday!
