Hey, guys, I have sent out invites to "LIKE" a page "Steel Horses" band. This is an amazing group of people who play for "nothing" to raise awareness to their cause. And who is the "Cobra" of the group - our very own Roy Ward. I have always been honored to be considered his friend, but after hearing what this group of people do for "children", he touched my heart! They will be playing at the American Legion in Alvarado, on Saturday, October 18th as their "tribute" to Vete...rans'. Rumor has it that some other classmates may be there to sit in on a few songs. PLEASE make plans to attend this event to hear what they are all about, to place "tips" in the jar to fulfill their dream of spending 75.00 each on 50 children assigned to their care...................and salute your Veterans' all in one night. Guaranteed to be an amazing performance and what a better way to have "another" reunion of the best class of BHS! You can PM me for more information or go to their FB page, like it to show your support and come on out and see us! Roy would love to see all of you since he missed the reunion - and take a look at the bands' picture to pick out Roy "AKA-Cobra"! See you on the 18th! begins at 7:30 until?????? SteelHorses Band

OFFICIAL! The date is October 2, 2010, for the "Burleson" reunion at the American Legion in Alvarado. There will be a band, there will be food, there is a dance floor, and a bar for those that wish to partake. It only accomodates 225 people so you MUST RSVP to me so we can keep count of the numbers. LET'S MAKE IT A GREAT REUNION!! Doesn't matter what class you graduated from, just want to get some alumni together!
Patti Pape Bailey is wanting to have a "Burleson" reunion. Not a specific class, just anyone that graduated and wants to get together to visit and catch up. Anyone interested?
Pat had developed congestive heart failure and angioplasty was attempted to open his arteries. During the procedure he suffered severe heart failure and lost all heart function for about two minutes. He is in ICU in very critical condition, being kept heavily sedated, but has responded so we are hopeful for no significant brain damage. Drs. are pleased with his response to treatment. Next 48 hrs very critical.
The following was posted by Pat Kendrick's sister last night - Pat injured his foot, resulting in a severe infection and subsequent amputation. He is now fighting for his life - he needs our prayers.
Any ideas on how to begin a class reunion? I know it's not an even number year since graduation, but do we need to wait for that? Post your thoughts on what we could do to just all meet up somewhere to visit and talk about old times!
Send a message to all your friends on facebook or in your e-mail that were from the class of 73', let's get them all to be friends of this site and plan something soon!
Would like to organize a Class of 73 reunion/gathering/get together to see each other! Share this site with all your classmate friends so we can get everyone's e-mail address to contact them!
