But if that is true ,please explain this,is there less old people in the world now than when this game started NO! .in fact we now live longer so there lots more !

(although I do think it would help our sport )

please remember first any sponsor is better than non at all ,ok you say it's a old persons game ,so who better than ,life insurance or a funeral company ( sorry but who did you expect to sponsor us MOTHER CARE ! Or SONY! Lol )
Maybe on day ( NIKE) if we got massive numbers back in the game and they started selling bowls shoes and shirts ,and they could see a profit they would ! ( normally sponsors are related to the sport they sponsor )

3, ( this one my pet hate) "that won't work" or try it locally first"

Well sorry the game need,s to be shaken big time , it's a nation wide ,even world wide problem ,so why not use every one to join in ,and promote at the same time ,with resources that are clubbed together ,rather than a drop in the ocean that a single club would have !

( this my own person opinion )

Manufacturers should be helping our sport at the grass root level ,not just national levels and world championships ,where the names get on tv.

Governing body's need to get together ( from all formats of bowls ,short,crown,lawn,indoor & out) and put together a national campaign by polling resources and if need be ask clubs to ask members for a donation or like I have said in a early post £2 off all bowlers to have a big campaign!

Im sorry but I LOVE THIS SPORT !

It's not dying because of the lack of old people willing to play or that young people won't play it ,it's dying for the lack of advertising & money in the game .which is a shame as it's one of one of the greatest and oldest games that anyone of all ages can enjoy !

We Have just gone over 3,500 friends in less than a 18 days .
So please keep like & sharing lets get bowls on course 🙏🏻
