We wanted to post a clip of Bridie's YouTube video, with audio, so you all could hear her happy little sounds during this play date.... Haggett Hill Kennel has been beyond amazing with Bridie, but it's time she deserves to be with a foster or forever family <3 This isn't just a plea, but also a challenge...who's on board for seeing how many times we can get this post shared? :) Sweet, loving Bridie deserves that comfy couch....

We love this funny video of Lollipop and Jasper (formerly Jingles) enjoying their home together last Sunday morning. Many thanks to the Osbornes for making it possible for them to be so happy.

If I could give you 1,000 stars I would. From the application process to the foster parents, it’s very clear that your organization cares so much about your dogs. My husband and I just adopted Asher a...nd he is the picture of perfection. Well behaved, calm, and good with our cats. You can tell Liz (Ashers foster mom) paid close attention to him and cared for him as he was one of her own. We are so blessed to have him as a part of our little family now. Thank you all so much!!! Underhound is a great organization! I have adopted a sweet pup through them, and had a wonderful experience. They care so much about these dogs who have been neglected, found on the streets, etc. Unde...rhound will not allow these poor animals to go to just any home...they need to know that the dogs will be loved and safe in their new homes, so the screening process is very thorough. It should be! These pups have been through enough, and what they need now is love. Thank you, Underhound Railroad, for rescuing and caring as much as you do! See More

I have to say Underhound Railroad truly cares for the well being of these innocent dogs! I have not had the ability to be able to adopt from this rescue, but I know the volunteers, and have babysat fo...r at least a dozen or more of the fosters this rescue has placed in loving forever homes. And many have not felt a human's love in their entire life. The transformations that I have personally seen in these dogs is amazing. Dogs that have been abandoned, even shot at, and now are so loving, affectionate, social, and trust their forever family. My children have loved getting to know and love on each of the dogs that have passed through our lives, and are so happy when we learn another foster dog has finally found his/her perfect forever family! I can honestly say that I don't know of another place where the dogs are cared for, and advocated for any better then Underhound. When we are able to adopt a new family member, you bet Underhound Railroad will be were we turn to find our match. See More

We adopted our beautiful girl, Whoopie Pie, about 3 years ago. Because we were so far away, Renee spent many hours on the phone with me to help me learn about Whoopie and her personality. We have two ...children, so we wanted to make sure she would be a good fit for us and that we would be for her. After we brought her home, we continued to stay in touch and Renee offered advice that helped us get Whoopie and our cat off to a good start. Whoopie had been so well cared for, she came to us as a balanced, loving, well rounded pup who has been great with all people and other animals too. I'm so grateful to Underhound Railroad for bringing Whoopie into our lives. See More

Seems to be a chaotic unorganized prosses to be able to adopt a dog here, me and significant other had tried for several days to contact somebody about a dog there, only to have to other coworkers t...ell us several different things. "The dog is as good as yours"……...... "You're must pay for the dog before you can meet and greet the dog"….…... We had left on a short vacation of two days and we're promised a meet and greet at the end of that vacation by the owner this business. This did not happen. Instead they had scheduled a meeting greet with a different family who was second in line to us. They sent someone to our house to see if the living circumstances were accommodatable for the dog. We were told we had been approved for adoption. But because I had, what I felt were generic concerns about the dog, like was the dog house broken? and could the dog be returned if it did not get along with my current dog? would that be okay? They just completely avoided us and scheduled the dog for another meet and greet with another family and have categorized us does a non potential permanent home for the dog based upon my questions. I had to ask myself if you cannot ask questions about the dog and its current behavior or condition plus be qualified to adopt a dog be told that the dog is as good as yours, and you've been qualified but then be unqualified for your questions and concerns. What good is going to a private business. I could have easily gone to my local Humane Society and acquired a dog but I did not do this I was trying to support local business this was not the right thing to do. I give this one out of five star review based upon business practicestar. See More

This fabulous organization run solely by volunteers is the reason we have our wonderful Pooka a Morkie ( Maltese/yorkie) in our family. Pooka aka Pookie was a special needs dog and the lovely voluntee...rs made sure to find the right family for her who could care for her needs and get her the much needed surgery to save her life.
From the first time we made contact with them to the moment we picked her up they made sure to stay in contact with us throughout the whole process. They did a thorough check on us and did a home visit to make sure we would be a loving family for Pooka. People do need to understand that these are volunteers that have full time jobs and families and that they are running this rescue out of the love they have for the dogs. We thank you every day for Pooka!

We adopted our pup Lexi back in February and we could not be any happier. We first found out about Underhound through a friend of ours who just got our pup as a foster from Georgia, she posted a photo... and we just couldn't resist. After inquiring we knew she would be the perfect addition to our other rescue, so began the process of filling out paper work and having a meet and greet between us and our current dog, all went great and we took her home on a Valentine's Day. It was a smooth process and we could not be any happier! Thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to give Lexi a happy, loving home that she deserves! Keep up the great work! See More

We have had our little Greta just over 3 years now. We could not have chosen a better rescue to get a pet from. This pup has brought such joy to our family and continues to make us laugh each and ever...y day with her very unique personality. Underhound is a professional and caring organization. From the many volunteers, the foster parents, to the home inspectors. You all make a fantastic team! Also wanted to let everyone know that if you are Amazon shopper, you can log on to Amazon Smile and Underhound Railroad is an organization that can benefit from your purchases. Check it out, it's a great way to help them out! See More

We got our Gracie girl from the underhound a little over a year ago now and I could have been happier with the experience. The people who run it know what they are doing. We were looking for a dog and... didn't have a particular breed or look in mind. They helped us match the perfect dog with our family. Our girl fits in like she was always meant to be here. See More

I've been transporting for UH for many years now and I am so proud to be part of this organization. Every person I meet is kindhearted and obviously generous with their time and love, opening their h...omes to dogs time after time. They take the utmost care in placing a dog with a family, paying close attention to details to ensure the fit will be right for a lifetime. I cherish every night I've spent with Underhounds as my guests. See More

We adopted Nattie two years ago and were very pleased with the process. I felt that the organization was very professional and kept our needs/wants in mind and made sure those aligned with the dog we ...were interested in. Renee made it very clear right from the start that Nattie was a handful, and we knew all her quirks before even meeting her. She fit in with our two males almost immediately and we couldn't be happier! See More

I have been involved with this amazing rescue group for several years. I foster for them, network for them, and have helped friends and family adopt through them. They are all volunteers and work real... jobs too. They do what is best for the dogs Nd potential families. If you are looking to adopt a rescue or volunteer, this group rocks!!! See More

I love working with this group and as a foster home we have welcomed, soothed and nurtured, and then placed three pups this summer. (We also have two All-American SuperDog rescues of our own!) The mis...sion is really clear, and the well-being of the dogs is top priority. Hooray for Happy Underhounds! :) See More

We couldn't be happier with our experience. My boyfriend and I adopted a 3 year old hound mix from underhound a few weeks ago. The process was great! Quick response, a phone call with his foster famil...y, a home visit, and then the final adoption. Underhounds Main goal is to place pups with families that best suit the dogs needs. They review the application thoroughly and ask questions if they have any. Our entire experience and process took about a week. Even after the adoption we have stayed in contact with Renee and his former foster family. I highly recommend this organization. Tucker has brought so much joy into our lives and we have underhound to thank for that!! Keep doing what you're doing ladies! We are forever Team Underhound! See More

This little guy is Roman! He and his sister are in Maine and just too adorable for words! These 2 are the last ones of a littler of 8. We know his Mom was a Beagle and Dads a hound so they’ll likely be large dogs. Lots of love, toys, exercise and socializing is on their list of wants no long hours crated for these babies! Roman would love to find an active family!
