I cannot believe this - Earbits are done. They are closing down their service. They were one of the best (if not THE best) online streaming service for indie musicians and definitely brought a lot of fans for Calfskin..

I've done a lot of sampling for the upcoming record - from sea waves to airports, from escalators to home appliances.. But apparently I forgot FOOD!! Turns out, this nice little synth 'Iris' from iZotope has a collection of nicely sounding 'food' presets.

Nice bit about obsession with vintage analogue gear. However no one wants to consider how costly it is - to maintain some vintage CS-80 or Prophet-5! And there's no comparison in terms of usability with modern soft or even hard synths..
Woke up with Kraftwerk's 'Model' in my head.. I wonder if it means that I'm supposed to record its cover now...
My favourite Röyksopp and Robin announced a mini-album - here's a preview track "Monument".. The track sounds a bit dull.. or am I just not in the right mood right now?..

Coldplay's latest single is surprisingly electronic, very atmospheric work, produced by my personal favourite Jon Hopkins. If this is their new direction - I really want to hear more!
