A great time was had by all at the Underhill Harvest Market! We enjoyed singing under the tent, and even had a surprise visitor... a Monarch butterfly who landed on Noreen's hand and stayed for a few songs! (as if to say "thank you" for coordinating such a fun event!) We would like to thank all the organizers and audience who stopped by to listen.
We hope you can join Calloway Taxi for our performance next Saturday at the Old Fashioned Harvest Market in Underhill. We will be singing from 3:00 to 4:30 pm in front of the United Church, joined by guitarist Rich Sutphen for a number of songs. Church address is 7 Park Street, Underhill. Come early as parking can be a challenge!
Free of charge, but you'll want to bring cash for food, vendors, rummage sale, etc.!
We all enjoyed singing for our friends at the Deborah Rawson Memorial Library on March 5th! Thank you to Laurel Shelmandine and the library staff for hosting, and to all our friends for coming to our performance!
Calloway Taxi is happy to announce our next performance at the Deborah Rawson Memorial Library on Sunday, March 5 from 2:00 - 3:45 pm. The event is free and open to all.
Our a cappella performances focus on classic jazz, pop and some contemporary pop songs with inspiration from such groups as Manhattan Transfer, New York Voices, Jazzappella, and others. For this performance we will be joined by jazz guitarist Rich Sutphen.
Come and be warmed by our music and the lovely reading room atmosphere. A perfect setting for a wintry Sunday afternoon.
