I have camped out most of my adult life and this location by far super exceeded all of my camping expectations. The campground to include the nearby Ndegeya town is full of creative sculptures and col...orful buildings. I was utterly impressed. The facility has full bathrooms, water heaters in the showers and electricity powered by solar, making everyone's stay very comfy. Ok and if you don't like the tent concept, they also have cottages.

I was there this past weekend with 6 of my friends and met about 12 other fun campers. This is the first time I've camped where a chef prepared our food. We enjoyed just laying back and experiencing the awesome views, touring the town on a hike with a most knowledgeable tour guide and sitting by the campfire.

Several times I caught myself daydreaming away from the group in isolation inspired by the beautiful views and creative possibilities of it all. I was taking and holding in every single memory this campground offered me. They have walls in which you can leave your message with paint brushes, however, I did not get an opportunity to do this activity. I plan to return many more times to participate in the artistic part of the campground and to continue to inspire my inner thoughts. The campground also has cool cottages if that's your style of camping. There are hammocks, swings, view-point benches, team games, etc. AND no need to bring tents, air mattresses or blankets, the friendly staff provides it all nicely set up. I, however am a true camper so I set up my own tent with the staff's help :)

I highly recommend this location to all campers, artistic minds, nature lovers, and team building groups and yes this location is fitting for youth and for couples. Big enough to divide groups into separate spaces. A-must visit destination when in Uganda.
