The weather was a little bit chilly and damp, and course was challenging and a "little bit" muddy but the racers still had a blast.

Try mountain biking in the off season. It’s a beautifully brutal experience for this Florida boy. Five categorized climbs was more than enough. Thanks Chain Buster Racing for a superb event.

Updated forecast sent to us by our amazing meteorologist The Average Mountain Biker! (He really is an actual meteorologist!)

It is a bit less promising than the one posted earlier this week, but it still shows a 30% chance of NO RAIN! Unfortunately it also shows a 70% chance of light rain and drizzle! Bottom line...bring your rain jackets folks!

After a great meeting with land management, we can assure you that the Assault on Currahee Mountain is a go for Saturday! As our amazing meteorologist shows, there is a 60% percent chance of NO RAIN on Saturday. (We're choosing to accentuate the positive!) Most of the Currahee route is on gravel roads, but there is some single track. Short portions of these sections (100 ft or so) will be a bit sloppy even if it doesn't rain another drop this week, so choose your weapon wisely for The Assault on Currahee Mountain!
