Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director provides the strategic leadership and overall supervision for all aspects of the organization’s operations on both a day-to-day basis and a strategic long term basis including: personnel, resource development, fiscal management, volunteer management, sales/marketing and public relations. For consideration, potential candidates must have a demonstrated track record of leadership, management and oversight of an organization of similar size and complexity. PCCA regularly advocates for state and federal support as a member of Americans for the Arts and Citizens for the Arts in Pennsylvania.

PCCA works for impacting change to its rural 7-county service area through its programming and Arts in Residence partnership with Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. The residencies have resulted in two large public art pieces - the Perry Juniata #QuiltBarn Mural Trail, and the Perry County Historic Mural Trail.
