The Kentucky Public Service Commission (PSC) will hold a public meeting to provide information and receive public comments on an increase to electric rates proposed by Duke Energy.
The meeting will be held on Thursday, February 8th at 5:30PM in the auditorium of Boone County High School, 7056 Burlington Pike.

Kenton County Public Works partners with several local cities and organizations for live Christmas Tree Recycling. Several cities have designated locations wher...e citizens can drop off their Christmas tree for it to be turned into mulch. Trees can only be dropped off until certain dates. This is for recycling of real/live trees, not artificial trees.
Contact your local city for further details. Please remove all ornaments, garland, wires, lights and twine.
Public Works will also be accepting trees from January 8-19 during the hours of 7:30 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. (Monday-Friday).

Dixie Heights High School is hosting a "Breakfast with Santa" this Saturday, December 2nd from 8:30am to 10:30am. Cost is $3 per kid and $5 per adult. The breakfast includes pancakes, juice and fruit provided by First Watch - Crestview Hills. Make sure to bring canned foods for donation!
ATTENTION: A bridge maintenance project on the Exit 83 ramp of I-275 westbound over US-25 (Dixie Highway) will take place on Monday, December 4, starting at midnight through Tuesday, December 5, until 2pm. During this time, Exit 83 will be CLOSED to traffic. The on ramp from KY 1303 (Turkeyfoot Road) to I-275 westbound will remain open. Drivers wanting to exit at US-25 (Dixie Highway) will be detoured on to Exit 82 and should continue to KY 1303 (Turkeyfoot Road) to US-25 (Dixie Highway).
