It took your police department 18 hours, with more than 50 highly-militarized SWAT personnel and the utter destruction of an innocent bystander’s home to apprehend a petty larceny suspect who was guil...ty of shoplifting no more than $50 worth of clothing and accessories? And then you try to justify your reckless, unauthorized actions by falsifying a claim that the suspect had opened fire on officers, when that was never the case to begin with?

I have the utmost respect for our police officers, but the police militarization and abuse of powers by government agencies like yourselves is a direct violation of the 4th Amendment to the United States Constitution, and a trend that should not be tolerated under any circumstance.

I hope your department is audited for this transgression. Your leadership needs to be relieved of their positions immediately.

Move here if you want your house destroyed by cops and not be compensated for it.

I've lived in Greenwood Village for nearly 20 years and it has been a great place to raise my family. I can probably say that it is officially my home now. I live on about an acre of land and there ar...e a lot of trees. It has been so easy to work with the city on picking up all the excess debris each year. I think it's a nice service that other towns don't offer...thanks See More

Amazing city but this new apartment bill is absolute crap. Just because they don't want low income citizens in their "perfect" city. So this city just became a joke.

Congratulations to the Cadets for completing the 2017 Greenwood Village Youth Academy.
Every year during Public Works Week, the staff at Public Works and Parks Maintenance educate the first graders of Belleview Elementary School on what it is they do to add to their quality of life. It appears they had a very good time.... and the students did too.

Take it slow this morning! Streets are snow covered and slick. A friendly reminder that Puffing is illegal. #GVPD #winterishere
