Pretty much a boring town. Been here going on 14 years and the only reason we stay is for the school district. Once our son graduates in 2021 bye, bye. Taxes are out of control as are the utilities, e...specially water. We pay over $125 a MONTH for water alone in a 2 bedroom apartment for a family of 3. Shopping, what a joke. Unless you think clothes from Meijer or Wal-Mart are fashionable you're okay. Otherwise, if you have any sort of class or fashion sense, you have to go to Delaware or Dublin for clothing. Can we at least get a Kohl's?! You want people to shop the Uptown area, but there is nothing there. You have too many antique dealers, Monarch Sports and a couple coffee shops. Most pathetic uptown I've seen in Ohio.

Fast food restaurants are everywhere. How many do we need? There are 2 McDonalds, 2 Wendy's, 2, Burger Kings and way too many Mexican and Pizza restaurants. Same with gas stations.

On the plus side the Police and Fire Departments are great. Violent crime is low and you constantly see PD patrolling. Police are also very friendly. The school district is amazing and our son has received a quality education.

One last thing in regard to traffic lights. How about adding some sensors. This is needed at Watkins Road and 36 as well as the light at Coleman's Crossing particularly if you're coming from the east and have to turn left on Coleman's Crossing. The arrow needs to be much longer to ease congestion and get vehicles through the intersection.

Marysville is what I will always consider home. I lived there for 28 years. My family is well respected and loved. They have lived there for 50 plus years. I watched it grow and prosper. Have high sc...hool friends that now work in city government. A father that policed there for 30+ years, a mother that taught not only myself, but both my sisters in high school. And a current city council member. An uncle that taught us in middle school. A grandfather that was/is a revered pastor. I love my hometown. See More

I was born & raised in this quite little town. Where everone knew each other. Then honda came. Marysville grew, fast. Ppl moving here from every where.
Marysville gov did not plan well enough fo...r this. No parking places uptown. Colemans crossing is a joke. 3 lanes???!!!! It should be 5. And yes the water price is lots of $$$$$ . Juat to get stinky, full of iron water. Putting all the schools to make everyone to bus.. $$$. And with the high school traffic is a mess during school hours.
They keep tearing down historical buildings.
I dont like Marysville any more. All these new stores came in and still the ppl r not happy. They want this & they want that.
Taxes r too high. I could go on & on. Lets just say; to be continued

I built a home 2 years ago in Marysville, OH. As I was driving through town and Colemans Crossing BLVD. I noticed that businesses do not care for the outside of their buildings. So many dandelions aro...und Tire Discounters and surrounding businesses. The City of Marysville should hold these businesses accountable for the way the city looks. On route 36 in front of Bob EVANS and around White Castle the flowers and mulch need attention. Where is all the money the city receives from businesses and home owners going??? For the amount of taxes I pay, I want to drive through a city that takes pride in its appearance and Marysville is not that city. See More

It has some ups but mostly downs. The two Biggest down falls are the mentality of ppl who don't take pride in their homes and property they own. Also, the city seems to have no set strategy for growth.... They follow a philosophy of "what's the quantity of land we can occupy" instead of "what's the QUALITY of the land we already occupy". Love this little town. Happy to call it my new hometown. Only been here under 2 years, hubby & I wish we had made this move sooner.

There fire department & medics are wonderful! Helped me last night at a softball tournament when I got a broken nose and concussion. They were phenomenal and really cared.
