We are senior citizens who have enough branches falling from our many trees because of weather or just natural conditions. So, we don't need the department leaving debris from their sporadic trimmin...g of branches over hanging on the road in front of our property!! See More

There is a serious sink hole in my yard I've been trying to get the city for 2 years to fix it. I'm tired of being nice about it. As a tax payer I deserve better service. The sink hole is caused by th...e drainage ditch in my yard!!!! See More

Public input needed! The stream cleanup of Fletchers Fork, held in August of 2017, was so successful, we would like to organize another one to be held sometime in April of this year. We are looking for location suggestions. The location could be public or private, would need to be easily accessible for volunteers and must be within the City limits. Comment below if you know of a good location to hold a stream cleanup event!

Road Closure

In order to complete road work associated with the intersection at Trenton Road and Needmore. Needmore Road will be closed to all through traffic from Thrush Dr to Trenton Road starting at 6:00 PM Thursday evening on December 7th until 6:00 PM Friday evening on December 8th.

Our Fletchers Fork stream cleanup event was a HUGE success!! Thank you to the volunteers and Street Dept employees who worked tirelessly to pick up and carry out load after load of trash from the woods along Fletchers Fork! In addition to 28 bags of trash, we also removed tires, carpet remnants, couches, mattresses, a toilet, endless bottles and cans, and even an entire hot tub! Yes a whole hot tub! We filled up two rolloff dumpsters, which were kindly donated by Queen City Metals. Thanks also goes to a couple of Clarksville's finest police officers who came by to check on us and make sure the area was safe before we started this morning! We're super proud of what a few people were able to accomplish Saturday morning!

The City of Clarksville Street Department invites you to participate in a stream cleanup event along Fletchers Fork! Come join us on Saturday, August 26th and help pick up trash and other debris littering the bank of Fletchers Fork! Parking is available along E. Fork Drive or in the parking lot of Webb's Furniture. All materials (trash bags, gloves, trash grabbers) will be provided. Please contact ashlie.farmer@cityofclarksville.com if you have any questions.
