Finally received the limited edition hardcover copy of my book, ‘Sinneslöschen’. I’m just gobsmacked by the quality. Printed in France on off-white paper with a pristine cover jacket - fits nicely on the bookshelf right next to the other literary epics 😉

Not for retail sale, though… soz everyone! 🤣 📕

One of my fave places in the world is Arlene's Grocery in the Lower East Side, NYC. I have nothing but the best memories of the times I visited there and the people I met. It's home to the phenomenal Arlene's World Famous Live Rock Karaoke Band which after 13yrs, sadly, will be retiring for one final show this coming Monday 12th, March. If you're in New York, and especially if you've never been there before, don't miss out. It's going to be a huge event. Here's a few snaps of the first time I visited, conjuring up Jim Morrison for 'Road House Blues'. My love for traditional karaoke pretty much kicked the bucket the moment I performed with a real band 👍🗽🎤

Sometimes a shoot will take me out to a pretty sweet place on the map.

Aloha! 🤟

Great news today folks, my book is DONE, DONE, DONE! Every page has been proofread, spell-checked, grammar policed, dog eared, scribbled out, edited and re-re-re-checked up to the eyeballs. Now just waiting to approve the print job of the front cover in a day or two before it goes on sale! 🏁📕

Speaking of the cover, here's the redesign with illustration by the talented Mike Winkelmann (Beeple). Va-va-voom, huh? 😃

That's a wrap!

Many thanks to my production team and talented young co-star (his first film) who helped me shoot my short film 'Bully' today. Shout out goes to Jack and Daniel Kelly, Liam Majoros, the Ross family, Woollahra Municipal council, our gracious and accommodating local resident Sarah and last but not least, my dear friend and oldest colleague, Natalie Richards, who directed it (dramatic last pic, lol). You all worked hard! It's one of the more straightforward and simplest films I've ever had to produce. Here are a few early snippets from the shoot day.

Now to shave off this ridiculous facial moss, pun intended... 😎

BOOK UPDATE: has gone through extensive changes since receiving the first proof copy, plus NEW cover art! More to be unveiled soon. Yayah! 😎🙃

I only get one shot at releasing this novel. Editing by hand is light-years better than on-screen. But I have to say; never write a book, I cannot (in good conscience) recommend it. It's a painstaking yet slow process.

Please have a safe and happy Xmas everyone! Don't get up to anything too crazy during the holiday break and lay off the booze if you can help it. 2018 needs you to have your best game face on so attack the year with your highest effort in whatever it is you do and makes you you! Don't accept anything less 😎🏄‍♂️🏋️‍♂️🖖🏁

Last 6 months I've taken up studying Kendo and recently, Iaido. I've never been one for having a great deal of upper body strength, sometimes having the occasional neck and back issues that come with age, so I've found them good for conditioning those areas plus all the other benefits any martial arts bring. The club I train with are really supportive and friendly but push everyone to be their best. At the end of a session, you're usually exhausted and sweating buckets from wearing Bogu (the armour) so this photo is a little misleading (before class...)

Overall, very challenging and lots of fun!

Morning everyone!

Today i'd like to make an announcement. No, i'm not pregnant. Actually - when I think about it, that's a lie. Technically 😉

Over the last few months I've been holed up in a cave while assembling my first book, tentatively entitled 'Sinneslöschen'. It's an anthology of 11 short form stories, both sci-fi and speculative fiction. The book has been written, it's just currently in its final editing and design phase.

At this stage, the book will be published through Lulu in hardcopy format. I'll look into distributing it in ebook format depending how well it sells. Release will occur somewhere around the end of this year to the beginning of 2018. That's if all goes smoothly and nothing major crops up between now and then. Further details will be made the closer I get to release.

Anyway, have an excellent week! 😎

My sincerest thanks to all the talented cast & crew I worked with over the years to get this far. You have my gratitude! It's been a very, very, very long time coming in getting this specific reel assembled. This aspect of the business is always fun and challenging to work in 😁

Never work with animals or children! Unless it's the amazingly talented Quiz the Dog. All was fine and dandy until Quiz decided to give my ear a big sloppy lick. Euuugh, thanks Quiz, thanks... lmao

What an actors viewpoint typically looks like. I have to imagine that none of this exists
