I was looking for a place for my client to take senior pictures. She wanted flowers in her pictures. It was was very hard to find a spot that has flowers in middle of summer until I found this spot. T...hey only asked for a $25 donation from photographers. It was well worth it because it gave me a variety of shots. My client is very happy with her pictures The volunteers were very friendly on the phone and in person. I just wish they were open later for golden hour shots. See More

My husband and I love the Clovis Botanical Garden. It's nice to walk through the garden and see what's blooming at what season. What plants, shrubs and trees do well in our area. And just go there and... unwind with a nice walk. They have expanded a lot. There is a nice gift shop there to.
Admission is free.

Great start to a great idea. Lots to see and and lots of room to expend/add on to. I loved all the different varieties of plants there, seeing them all co-exist without being invasive to local speci...es or each other. Plus for those would love gardening it gives you a first look what can survive and thrive here in the valley. See More

Its a nice place.. little dirty around the edges, but look like they are constantly improving. The rental price for the pavilion is insane.

A wonderful place. We had fun wandering around and reading the interesting plants and trees signs. My children are going to volunteer there this summer.

It's a diamond in the rough, needs some work. First time visiting, I plan on going back to see what work has been done.

#GivingTuesday

What was once just a dream of the late Gordon Russel has become a reality, a botanical garden in the Central Valley, the only of its kind located in Clovis, California. The garden was made possible by generous supporters and hard work of the many faithful volunteers that have worked tirelessly at the garden over the past 15 years.

The garden was designed to be a water wise demonstration garden to help educate the public on the principles of gardening while usi...ng resources wisely, low maintenance gardening reducing waste and saving water. The garden has become so much more, a place to stroll and appreciate nature, sit and read a book, have lunch or explore nature with your children.

The potential of the garden is endless, with many goals to bring the public more ways to enjoy their visits.

Complete pathways and pathway lighting
Finishing details in the various areas.
Information Center building
