Snow is making it very difficult to do much training/hunting with these pups. They are doing good with the obedience and table work, but the snow is close to a foot a more deep. They cant hardly move in it. Oh well, i guess spring will get here soon. Bring on the warm!!!-Kalob
After the cold snap that we had, -40 wind chills that broke a 130 year record, we had a major thaw. It was 4 days of 38+ weather. Now back below freezing, we are having a rough te of keeping on the coon. You can't predict their movement at all. Been a pretty bad year, at least I got a skin to train these pups with!
I have had 6 English dogs now to date and only the last 3 have had fun names like you see on all these big name dogs... what do you think of Brush creek log splitter for my little redtick pup? What other cool names can you think of? He is out of some hartime and swamp rooster blood!-Kalob
