It all started with an inspiring little boy and a box of crayons. $0 to $100 to... drum roll please...$100K!!!! Our amazing volunteers (the "Crayon Crew") have reached an incredible milestone...together we've raised over 100 THOUSAND DOLLARS! Wow. Hearts are touched, hearts are humbled. Thank you for your continued support of kids battling cancer in Minnesota, Connecticut and beyond! ❤️Go, TJ, still making the world a brighter place! ❤️

We had the pleasure of donating $8,000 to the Family Fund at Connecticut Children's Medical Center this afternoon. Thank you to everybody who has been a part of our Crayon Crew! It was great to meet with Dr. Eileen Gillan and connect with our friends from the CCMC Foundation. Thank you to our CT Crayon Crew for keeping this going.

On Friday Twin Cities Live aired a great segment about our mission. Thank you to our new partner The Crayola Experience for donating a huge mountain of crayons to us. A colorful welcome to our new Crayon Crew members: @Twincitieslive, Kelli Hanson, Seth the camera guy & The Crayola Experience at The Mall of America.

If your kids have broken crayons, the wrapper is peeled off, what do you do with them? If you’re throwing them away, the Christensen’s from Eagan say “Stop right now!”

Dear Connecticut Crayon Family and Friends, it is with mixed emotions that we are announcing that the Christensen Family will be relocating to Minnesota this summer. It is our hope that we can find a few volunteers to continue to manage Crayons for Cancer in Connecticut. As usual, all funds raised in Connecticut will stay in Connecticut. If you are interested please drop us a note.

We are looking forward to growing our Minnesota Crayon Crew in the coming year!
