TTTT Party Jan 12

First party of the year and it's goin down like this: getting up with These Things Take Time boss B. Hayes & LA/Black Lodge stalwart Force Placement for a proper underground jammer at Rec Center on FRIDAY. Plz let me know if ur needing additional infos.

The other scoop here is that I've got a 12" on the way with These Things Take Time. The remix from one of our very favorites just hit the inbox yesterday so we are fully in GO mode. But first, we gotta dance it out, you feel me?

filled this one with alotta fall favorites, new and old (tbh can't decide if i like old music or new music better lol), including the homies Sage Caswell, Urulu off his new Amadeus 12", MOON (Johannes Albert + Iron Curtis), the funky one Benedek, a couple Garrett Davi...d joints cuz I can't resist including the Bell Boys remix off that new Stripped & Chewed 12", love it, killer Adam Feinfold from the excellent 00:AM V/A comp, and some godly music from 2000Black. And that's just the new stuff!!

Recorded live on a couple CDJs couple Technics at Club Craig (4 those who know)

sure hope y'all are not sleeping on this pure magic from the Bell Boys (Garrett David + Adam Rowe) off the Capacity of Color compilation Urulu put together in support of the Transgender Law Center back in August. All funds still going to TLC.

Honestly, this may very well be my track of the year and I'm not at all surprised cuz those Chicago dudes definitely know what they are doing.

Seriously, just listen + buy, don't sleep

from the album Capacity of Color Vol.1

#fbf to the mix I made for Croatia's finest Burek crew back in April.

I feel like, every time I make a mix, I sincerely think it's my favorite and my best one, as I really strive to showcase my favorite tunes in the best way I know how. Maybe it's like what having a kid is like i dunno. But if I'm bein really real with myself, this might be the tightest mix I've done. Or maybe not lol, you can decide 4 yourself

Anyways, recorded another hot mix recently that'll soon be in your streams.

Any anyways, I put a track of mine called Told around the hour mark of the mix, out of the SW cut. Happy to inform that it'll be coming out on one of my very favorite LA labels in Q1 2018!

i'm so pissed we have an administration that actively seeks to curtail people's abilities to live their lives as their true selves solely for political and personal gain. Fortunately, there are organizations working towards are more just society, but the work is not easy in the face of what we are up against. I was happy to share my music for the purpose of supporting Bandcamp's admirable effort here (…/labels-artists-join-us-in-don…/) through thi...s Capacity of Color compilation.

Thanks to Taylor for digging in and making this happen.

The music on the compilation is awesome too with contributions from Huerta, Garrett David, Seb Wildblood, Mculo, Taylor and Taylor. My tune Pier Capacity sets it off with acid, bubbles and some pads.

"In support of Bandcamp’s recent stand against The U.S. administration’s position against active transgender-military-personnel, seven artists (including myself) have chosen that their stance shouldn't go alone. As of this Friday Bandcamp will be donating all profits towards the Oakland-based Transgender Law Center, an organization which not only gives Trans teens a platform to build communities but helps in all aspects of Trans litigation. In an effort to spread diversity and inclusion within our music, we felt that using this compilation as a channel for change was the least we could offer.

Capacity of Color was compiled to promote freedom of expression as well as tolerance towards LGBTQ communities and other marginalized groups.

I’d like to thank each one of these talented artists (and friends), as this compilation was conceived on such short notice. Thank you Mathilde Blondel for the lovely artwork and Max Lizarraga for additional illustration.

The compilation can be purchased exclusively through Bandcamp - for a limited time. All additional proceeds from our end will be donated to the Transgender Law Center and ACLU.

Taylor "
