  • Our Chicago Cubs have their first game of the season today. It is so... strange to enter the season as champions and honestly I don't know how to feel about it. On one hand, I was absolutely elated that we won the World Series. That was evidenced by my reaction recorded on Facebook Live....tears and all. There is another part of me, however, that will miss the chase. Sure we can win this and many more titles with this team but I know that feeling I had can never be duplicated. It's like sex or drugs. No matter how hard you try to replicate it nothing will be better than the first time. With all that said, I am happy we are over the hump. It's dynasty time so now I have to shift my focus to that. Maybe I can conjure up those feelings of anxiousness once more to get that feeling of satisfaction once we accomplish that goal of another championship. Until then....Go Cubs Go!!!!!! #Cubs 展开

    Just a thought that might add some interest to a long baseball seaso...n and the playoffs. What if MLB did their season similar to the minors, each division would have a half season winner. The best record at the all star break is the first half winner and the same for the second half. This would give six playoff teams and it could be structured similar to the NFL. The two best records in each league get a bye and the other four play a three game series to advance to the division series. 展开
