Hello Beautiful Ladies.....

No we haven't fell off the face of the earth. Its been a long winter with things going on.

Michael finally got my mothers basement complete. (Her and Sherida are on cloud nine) We did get it done before Thanksgiving.

...

I know there is the question on if this is still in the works. It is but as I stated in the other post one delay after another. It's been a long while and I haven't expected anyone to wait around. (like I have been doing. ewww I don't even want to take my measurements)

With winter ending soon back on track (hopefully).

I sooooo miss you Ladies & hearing about your wonderful families.

Greetings to all the Wonderful Ladies,

I just wanted to update everyone on the gym's progress.

...

So far its been one delay after another. Michael and I had 5 contractors out in May/June to bid the job. So far only 1 got back to us. What he quoted wasn't realistic in price as well as he wouldn't have been able to start the project til later this winter. The other 4 never return calls or return a bid & time frame. So the remodeling landed on us to do. No problem Michael can do the work only problem is we are both working so it has to be a weekend project.

Another delay to the remodel came from the New garage. All the materials for the new garage the contractor (per instructions) store it in the old where we planned the remodel, so we had to wait until the New garage was finished. Finally the New garage was complete and YAY us we could start work on the remodel.

Michael and I were tucking along with the clean out and gutting (you wont believe this) but my mother basement flooded again. Her insurance company contacted MK Customs (which if you all didn't know is Michaels side business) to do the clean out, gutting of her basement, cleaning out all the mold, removal and do all the repairs. Because the insurance company couldn't locate anyone else to do the work we agreed to do it. (Mold, toddlers and infants don't mix) So with that being said we are now working on that.

I am sorry to sat that the Gym is behind the schedule I wanted for the reopen. YES YES YES I still plan on opening the Gym. Yes its in Primghar. I am disappointed that its taking longer then expected, with the delays as well as not finding anyone to hire to help I am so sorry about the unexpected delays.

I miss you all, I hope you had a wonderful summer and I will keep you all updated. Feel free to call my cell if you have questions.

And thank you for your patience

I thought this was important to carry on........

This is by a daughter of a murdered couple in Raytown , MO , who had a Bible and Bookstore on 63rd street . She says: When I had to testify at the murder trial of my parents a week ago, I was asked to raise my right hand ... The bailiff started out "Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?" I stood there and waited but she said nothing She said "Do you?" I was so stunned I blurt...ed out "What happened to "so help me God?" She came back with "Do you?" I replied yes, but I was perplexed. Then the judge said. "You can say that if you want to." I stopped, raised my right hand, and finished with: "So help me God!" I told my son and daughter that when it came time for them to testify, they should do the same. I don't know what can be done about it, but it's time for us to step up and DO something. NBC this morning had a poll on this question. They had the highest number of responses that they have ever had for one of their polls, and the percentage was the same as this: 86%to keep the words, 14% against... That is a pretty 'commanding' public response.
I was asked to send this on if I agreed ..... Or delete if I didn't. Now it is your turn. It is said that 86% of Americans believe in God.
Therefore, I have a very hard time understanding why there is such a mess about having "In God We Trust" on our money and having God in the Pledge of Allegiance. Why is America --our nation -- catering to this 14%? If you agree, pass this on, if not, simply delete .... In God We Trust If You Choose To Delete Perhaps Then You Are Part Of The Problem Me? I'm Passing It On. It seems to get worse daily.

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it.”

“Some changes look negative on the surface but you will soon realize that space is being created in your life for something new to emerge.”

“Thankfulness is the beginning of gratitude. Gratitude is the completion of thankfulness. Thankfulness may consist merely of words. Gratitude is shown in acts.”

“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.”

“You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.'”

REMINDER::::: Next Friday is Curves - Sheldon last opened day. Please take home your workout shoes if you have any here. Friday when I leave I will be taking what is left to the Village.

Also don't forget since I wasn't having workouts in the morning or early afternoon I changed to opening at 1pm.....

“We are what our thoughts have made us; so take care about what you think. Words are secondary. Thoughts live; they travel far.”

“Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens.”

“Don't be too hard on yourself. There are plenty of people willing to do that for you. Do your best and surrender the rest. Tell yourself, "I am doing the best I can with what I have in this moment. That is all I can ever expect of anyone, including me." Love yourself and be proud of everything you do, even your mistakes, because your mistakes mean you're trying.

If you feel like others are not treating you with love and respect, check your price tag. Perhaps you subconsciously marked yourself down. Because it's YOU who tells others what you're worth by showing them what you are willing to accept for your time and attention. So get off the clearance rack. If you don't value and respect yourself, wholeheartedly, no one else will either.”
